Looks like this was indeed the "cold start" or ninth injector. thanks.

 

Yeah, shouldn't be needing that anymore. Keep us updated on how the install goes. What all are you doing to it?

 

Not so much a matter of shouldn't be needing it as
" no where to mount it"
on a HSR

 

Thanks for the posts guys. I got it running today! Started right up!!! HSR, cam, headers, exhaust, etc, etc. Yee-haw!

 

So, with the inability to put that 9th injector anywhere is this going to pose a problem for starting up the car during the cold months? Especially where I'm at, sometimes it gets down right frigid during winter.

 

You need to run a '89 tune in your ECM that has the cold start provision through the 8 injectors
as the later cars without the CSI had
