new engine, super ram build Need input.

Well sadly I got my car running for the first time in a year, And it had a terrible vibration. Well after alot of headaches It turned out to be a bent rod.

So I'm going to go bigger.

the plan is a 383

around 9:5, 10:0 compression Have to be able to run on 93 octane.

the cam is being reused its a comp cams 08-501

heads are undecided... 180cc, 195cc? 64cc combution chambers with 2.02, 1.60 valves

I'm not going for anything crazy just something I can drive has a good amount of power(when needed)

itll be an eagle rotating assembly.

I'm really just trying to figure out what would work well and what wont.

The better/more capable the system will allow you to cam it with the right cam for the combo, not because of the fact you have an EFI'd application.

What's your budget for the heads? Aluminum or cast iron?
