Question? where does the brake booster attach? My current Holley has a dedicated port next to the distributor. I do see a port below top pad surface. Is that it?
I purchased one.

I have the Accel Pro Ram intake (may or may not be the same casting) and on those there are two ports in the back of the manifold and one in front. Also, if you go with an Accel 4 barrel throttle body it has one port at the back.

I thought they were the same Accel/Motown that is? My Motown/World Products has 2 coolant ports next to therm and two at rear with dist center in same arrangement. One .50 inch in plenum rear. I supose that is the one. I noticed some manifolds have the #8 intake runner with a cast/threaded port. My Holley Projection has that as well as others I see on line.

Re: save 40% for a few days motown efi PRORAM intake$179.99

I purchased a motown intake during the sale but havent been able to pick it up yet. I already got an edelbrock Victor E and rails and my hope is that the edelbrock rails will fit the motown. If someone with access to a motown intake could measure the distance between the injectors, I can compare with my edelbrock rails. These are like $90 at Summit.

Re: save 40% for a few days motown efi PRORAM intake$179.99

I’m thinking those Accel fuel rails might be for the original style Accel ProRam that bolt to the plenum under the carb. If so , they won’t have the supporting hardware to mount the fuel rails at the injector pad on this Motown.

However, I do believe the Edelbrock 3630 fuel rails for the Victor E EFI 29785 (like bogo has) will work and has the mounting hardware for $96. I’ll know for sure Wednesday or Thursday. $276 for a quality single plane EFI with rails is a heck of a deal.

Edelbrock rails I dont believe fit. I will be sending them back to Jegs. I will have measurements tonight of rails and Motown intake. OBTW Jegs says I need custom machined rails?

Re: save 40% for a few days motown efi PRORAM intake$179.99

This Motown intake is a very nice, high quality casting and a steal at $180.

Comparing the Motown intake and Edelbrock rails, the center to center for #1 to #3 and #5 to #7 are perfect. The center to center from #3 to #5 is off a little over 1/16”, but there’s more than enough wiggle room with the o-rings that the injectors fit without issue. If I hadn’t measured them I'm certain I wouldn’t have known there was any difference at all - they were no harder to seat than others I've installed.

Also worth noting is the Edelbrock signature on the rails is only on one side, so you can run them with the plain side out if you want.

thx! will order edelbrock lines then and save a few bucks more

Did you try the rail holders too? the motown looks a little bit more solid then edelbrock ones.

I didn't test-fit the rail mounts, but I suspect the holes for the mounts or rails might need to be elongated slightly,,,, if the holes are tight on the bolts - if not there may be enough "adjustment" to compensate.

Re: save 40% for a few days motown efi PRORAM intake$179.99

I compared with caliper the dimensions of the Edel rail to Motown SP. Accuracy is not perfect.

#1 -#3 and #5 -#7 center to center the Edel is wider by .045. Lets call it same.

#3 to #5 " " " the same width.

#1 to #7 Edel is shorter by .12 (Motown measures 11.47 to Edel 11.35). Seems impossible from above?

When I align the inj ports #1 to #1 with mani upside down the .12 is visually confirmed at other end(5+7).

Now fuel injector connection says the orings will account for some differences. Jegs says each aftermarket manifold is different in size and to allow perfect allignment one needs to buy from same manufacturer. I am thinking the Edel rails will be OK. Not sure if leakage will occur a year or two later however?

BadSS have you had the set up on car runnin yet?

ps the Edel universal 4B TB clears the rail by .001 inch. However the setuop may not clear my Vette hood. My measurements say it will be close as I see .25 inch to spare. If I shave .50 off top of mani the buttrefly shaft nut will fall under center of rail affording more room. Seems to work out.

Re: save 40% for a few days motown efi PRORAM intake$179.99

The injectors are no where close to being in a bind (they spin just as freely as any others) and there's plenty of movement as a whole. I haven't run this yet, but I have no concerns about using these rails with the intake. I'd expect full service life from the o-rings as well.

That you for your observations. I feel much better regarding the application.

I looked at the alignment again last night. It should be OK...

Re: save 40% for a few days motown efi PRORAM intake$179.99

It looks like the Edel I ordered will fit OK. I place two injectors in the rail and manifold and 1 + 7 lined up pretty well. then I flipped it over and the others looked OK. Motown may have made rails but I could not find no matter how long I looked. I called Acell and they said to measure and then will see what they have in stock. He suspected that Accel used to use that specific manifold for their application but was not sure. They use Edelbrock now as their supplier and that has been a quite a while.

Use an Accel four barrel throttle body or buy a elbow and use an LS throttle body.

Re: save 40% for a few days motown efi PRORAM intake$179.99

My Motown is 4 sale in classifieds. I can measure height if any one needs that.
