Woo! Got my car back, from the paint shop, a day early lol....Half of the car is repainted, now for the other half...*goes to take a lot of pics*

 

Ok, so maybe a lot of you have had your car's painted already, and stuff. I'd still like some congradulations for my paint. I've been wanting to have it repainted for a while now, and I'm very happy about it!

Yes, Stroke_This, yes it does. I'm exceedingly proud of this car. Albeit it's not the most important thing in life, but it's my first car and I love it. I know that a lot of people here have invested a lot of time/energy into their cars and so have I.

Not to mention, I recall that this is the part of the board where you can come and talk about your paint, and I think it's only fair to get at least a few responses. Sometimes people get no response. It is sad... ._.

The car is fully painted o_o if that's what you meant. It's just that when I had my accident, the shop went back to the original color code, and now the front end and the back end are two different shades of silver and I'm slowly trying to get it the same color.

I don't have 1300 to finish off the car right now, but it will be done this year. I was lucky to even get half the car painted, man! At least it's evenly painted up front, right? It isn't lopsided paint. The rest of it will be painted all at one time, though.

Yes it is my daily driver, I drive this thing everywhere....ehem

As it stands I am in the middle of trying to find a job, therefor I have no income. I saved up enough money to have a few parts painted, I just couldn't wait to have something painted so I had something painted : )!

The color difference isn't too bad, really, but when you have very low to no income, you kind of have to have one thing painted at a time......you know...? o.o

 

I know how that is, being in college, doesn't get much poorer than that. Most of my money goes to my addiction of speed (not the drug) and I still have a dented fender to fix.

It's just that if it weren't for--what i call-- the ***** paint* on my car, I don't think it would be even 1300 to do the back end....They wanted 2000 to start with, but 300 to do the driver's side fender and door. I had 300 to do it, and the shop was nice enough to take out a few dents and repaint the mirror/door handle/and lock for no extra charge.

Truth be told, 1300 is 400 cheaper than I thought it was going to be : )

Yes..woe to us, the poor little college students..we have pizza and our cars at least....(just playing, don't kill me!)
