How to make dull paint shine?
At the moment the correct answer would be to get the whole car painted but since I don't have the money for that right now...
My 83Z has some rather dull black paint. I washed the other day and it looks awesome wet. Is there any special wax or polish that I could use to make it shine like it has a deep wet black look to it?

This is mine: https://www.thirdgen.org/rides/rideimages/Drfcen.jpg
As you can see (well, sort of see) it's not all that shined up. The glossy deep black is what I'm looking for. Besides Zaino and the obvious need for a paint job, is there anything else that I should look for to get anywhere near the shine of that 4th gen TA?
Btw, is that a BlackBird, Firehawk or what?

After you go over the car with a Clay bar, buff it with a Foam pad and 3m's perfect-it Foam pad polish pictured on the right. It'll really bring back the shine. If you want to rebuff the entire car from the beginning process then use the 3m compound pictured on the left with a thick Wool pad followed by the second bottle and the Foam pad.

Once you use Zaino, you will never go back there is no comparison.
Its $35 for the Z1, Z2(or Z3 depending on paint type) and Z6. You can get the clay bar also (helps A LOT), their soap, glass cleaner, plastic cleaner, etc etc.

Hm, you could try Meguiars....I'm thinking of using it for my car pretty soon.
BTW...that Ram Air....that's what I'm talking about *drool* I'll have one of those one day, too...then my Camaro will have a friend.

I was actually thinking of using Meguiars because anything I have every used by them worked great for me but I'm still not sure what specificly I should use. I was just hoping to find something that could make the paint look a deeper and wetter black than it is. I may try the Zaino stuff sometime also, though, I went to the link that redbird_400 posted and read a little about this guy's test between Meguiars and Zaino. This guy is taking a car with a very well cared for paint job for his test subject where I am lucky this car has paint (former owner didn't care for appearance).
Maybe if it doesn't rain I can actually wax the car and get some nice pics taken.
Thanks for all the help guys.
Silver87S.C. : I, too, wouldn't mine adding a nice ram air T/A to my collection.
