ugly dash pad
Today on my way to work I loooed over and there wasa
firebird, with red **** carpet on the dash pad.. UGLY!
anyone else ever seen someone carpet their dash?

my friend has a **** carpet dash in his 79 trans am, the whole thing is ghetto, my other friend has a 86 Iroc with short carpet on the dash (it was cracked and the previous owner did it)

I bought mine with one of those on the dash. Flip side to the ugly thing is that it kept the dash in perfect condition.
Of course, it didn't even make it home. When I stopped for gas it went in the trash.

I was actually thinkin about puttin one on mine, I heard it adds about 10 hp and takes about a tenth of your quarter mile, it's just like ricers with their stickers and big tachs LoL

Did the cars ever come with carpet dash pads from the factory or was that an after thought type of thing. I see them in classic industries. Just wondering.

Saw one at pull-a-part that had a white leopard patterned dash cover, headliner, and seat covers. Sadly the dash was trashed under the cover.

I would think all that would be too distracting regardless of where or not it was tasteful. Like that one guy with the white zebra dash. I think I would go blind being in either car.
