time
Hey guys thanks for posting about my car. To answer your question about the time that is took to switch everything--it didn't take that much time to switch the trans(after we got the trans done it took about a year to finally get the stuff to hook up my speedo --that was the only problem with the trans taking time). The motor took awhile b/c i bought a engine and then we took it down and rebuilt it(we got a cam and stuff so it took a little longer). I really liked hearing about what you thought about my car. Keep the posts coming.

now you know i am kidding---i would just take nicks hood (b4 i would resort to killing you)besides i don't want a cowl like you guys the girls car has to stand out (so i will stick with the ram air)
All I can say is that you did the rest of us a big service by not driving a mini-van :hail:
Cool ride.... Get more pics of the details.
A few pic taking tips:
1) Always make sure the sun or lighting is to your back.
2) Don't use a flash unless its needed.
3) Always make sure that the object of your picture is centered.
4) Pay attention to the background surroundings.
Sweet car, now go get us some good detailed pics

sweet looking cars. i would of gotten a gta but i ended up getting an iroc. wish i had a girlfriend that drove a gta. btw, are those weld racing wheels on the yellow t/a?
My better half is also into cars... Its so nice having someone there to clean the inside and detail it while you're putting on a fresh coat of wax. Makes things so much easier and looking better in the end.
Only problem is when you wanna go hang with the guys...its hard getting out when your significant other is "one of the guys". She can bench race witht he best of 'em.

1st off let me say thank-you for all of the good comments.I will try to get some better pix soon.To answer the question about the rims on Nick's TA ---yeah they are the weld racing rims.I bought the rims a couple years back as a x-mas present for Nick's car.I had them on my car for awhile but I didn't like the way that they looked.Nick solved that problem for me though cause when they were on my car he was driving and kissed a pot hole.
Iroc57TPI--it is really nice when your boyfriend/girlfriend is into cars as much as the other.Do you 2 ever get competitive with eachother?(racing or mods etc.)I really understand what you are talking about when you say it makes it hard to go out with the guys.I am also one of the guys.I would rather hang out and cruise or chill in the garage with all the guys then to go out with the girls.Well' just felt like sharing

Thanks,
but most of those pictures are from early last year. this is what it looks like today sitting in the driveway waiting for the drivetrain to be put back in and then going off to get painted.

thanks,
I now need to get a complete exhaust for it. I just traded mine for an NOS Direct Port setup.
I am going with long tube headers with an x pipe dumping before the rear axle. Should be nice and loud.

exhaust
The louder the better
I have an 80 series flowmaster on my car and it is not loud enough. Improvements are on my agenda though and one of those improvements is going to be a brand new exhaust system front to back.I can't wait.

Well, instead of changing your exhaust, you might want to look into getting an Exhaust Cutout installed. They are relatively cheap and can increase your torque and sound levels.
My brother had one installed on his 96 Trans Am about 3 weeks ago and it is an amazing difference. I have other friends that have one installed and they like the improvement.
You can also get a motorized unit so that you can open and close the cutout from inside your car, so you don't have to get underneath and un-cap it yourself.

I know the pix suck ,but I am working on it.These are old pix.Since then we have stripped and repainted my gold gta rims to make them silver and I got a neon kit from summit and put that on.Also, some things that have been done under the hood are not in any pix either so I will have to get some taken under the hood, too! So anyway thanks for the good comments on my car and as soon as I can get more pix I will post them.
