does my car have "The Look"?
You know how you see some cars and say "Daaaaaamn"....
I got a recent pic of my car from last weekend racing at the local SOLO2 regionals. This is a hard right hander at-speed. Waddya say? Does she have "The Look"?

I think so..
I think it has the look, BUT since I'm a big AutoX'er I biased, and if you are in F-stock the GTA wheels are the way to go, my chrome 17's are just for looks...

It certainly looks at home on the track. The black wheels are very autocross-ey. Toss in a 4-point AutoPower rollbar and tell everyone it's your 'track car'.
No offense Bumpa, but chrome TT-II's don't look very road racy to me. Mini-Lites, Halibrand's and TT-D's for the vintage Trans-Am style, BBS or Diamonds for the A/Sedan-ProSolo look.

Bumpa, do you ever take your car over 100 with those headlight covers on? I had a set and one of them cracked and departed during flight at about 130.

That's why in my original post I said: my chrome 17's are just for looks... I run race rubber and IROC 16x8's at the AutoX
and yes '87FAKE-IROC-Z they are NOT TTII's they are Cragar SS's

Just to be clear:
I never said there was anything wrong with the chrome Cragar's. Just not my speed.
Of course, I run my Hoosiers on steelies, so I have no room to talk.

Looks good Mat! I would maybe consider painting youf GFX red to match the car. Check out my website link below. I colored my GFX on my old car. You can see the difference for yourself. But all in all, it looks like a clean car. I especially like the rims....those Cross Laced rims are suppsed to be the best for autoxcross.

car looks nice but you should put the stock foglights in the grill instead of those import looking ones. do you run the GTA rims all the time or just for auto cross racing? some classes make you run the stock rims size and the GTA wheel is the lightest 16" stock wheel for the 3rd gen.
