want to see my IROC-Z?
I finally got the first pics I took of my baby, I took these with a 1 time use camera, but they actually came out pretty decent, well without further ado, here they are, please tell me what you guys think.
Here is a pic of the paint job on the car, it's about 5 months old, I didn't really get any that made it look great, but lets say this pic was taken before I washed and waxed the car, it was dirty.

so what do you guys think of my ride? I also have a pic of my over head console if you guys want to see it.
EDIT: oh I forgot the big question... my car is made to sleep, so the question pops up, IROC-Z decals or not?

Thanks tpi_roc
, I actually like the 2 tone color scheme, blue & silver are my favorite combo.
the reason I call it a sleeper, is because it doesn't look like an IROC, it has no striping, no IROC decals, & a 2 tone paint job. Looks like a Z28 if anything.
So it's a sleeper.

It better to be really really fast to look like that and not like it was intended.
I don't get why some1 would want an IROC-Z just to make it look like a regular Z28?!

Simple. I used to own the car from 1995 - 1997. It seems everyone wants an IROC-Z. I like to be different. I also like "regular" Z28's better. There were far fewer Z28's in 1987 than IROC-Z's. I don't like to be one of the masses.

Looks really nice. I like the blue, but I don't like the silver ground effects with it but its your ride. But either way, its very nice.

I like your car,but....
What's the point of owning an IROC if it doesn't have the decals or emblems to show that it is one.If you wanted a sleeper why not just get an RS or an SC and stuff a big motor in it cause that's what it is now.So what if a lot of other people have them,I just don't get that point. If you want to be different get a T/A
j/k. So you want to be able to surprise 4thgens or modded cars, just go ahead and mod yours.People won't expect that it is modded, especially snotty 4thgenners who think 3rdgens are slow pieces of junk.As I have stated in another thread, the decals and emblems are part of the appeal of having an IROC-Z.

You have an excellent looking Camaro!
I really like the colour scheme, it is one of my favourites
Your interior is very nice, too.
Don't pay any attention to the nay-sayers--they're probably jealous.

I don't know Willie, I didn't like those 85-87 Z28's much, but thats MO. IMO, the car would look much better looking like an IROC-Z the way it should.

And the 87 seats are the best 502.

Thanks everyone for your opinions on my ride
I personally love the color combo and I will leave it that way.
As for the IROC-Z decals, I gess knowone saw my question, wich was if I should add IROC decals, I came to the conclusion that I will get the door decals in silver at a later time, it will look awesome.
Blue 502:
Hehe, you noticed
, yes I have power seats from an 88, they are awesome.
Sitting Bull:
Thanks
91Zman:
hmmm, Why would anyone want to have a an IROC-Z and no decals? I don't know, why wouldn't anyone want to have GFX? Why would someone want a high rise spoiler instead of a 3 piecespoiler, or no spoiler at all? Why would someone want a body kit. simple. to be different and unique.
Everyone has different tast, I have my own.
Hg:
hmmm I would have to try that.

My opinion, add the tri color 87 Z28 stripes to the bottom. Forget the IROC decals. Based on the 2 color paint, adding the IROC decals will lead people to think it's a Z28 that you put IROC stickers on, or an 88 SC with IROC Z28 and IROC badging. You'll get the attitude from people that think they know all about the cars. If you make it look like a Z28, which it already does, then you got the sleepr look.

My 86 IROC dosent have any decals at the moment, but I'm getting ready to paint so... I dunno, I kinda like the way it looks. We'll see after the paint.
