Well, I am for sure keeping the 'Maro. Too much time, money, and headaches to sell for a reasonable price. Plus everyone I know loves the car so I think thats cool. But to make the car looks better, here are some plans.

For the body, we will color sand my car to get the dust and imperfections out and then go over with a couple more coats and clear. I will buy a new hood, identical to the one I have now but a one piece instead of the one I made. I will put black stripes down the hood and trunk lid.

Then I want exhaust and tips put one, the tips that are chrome and 3 inch angle cut.

For interior, I am buying once I get home, red/black fourth gen seats for the front, "racing pedals" putting my system in, and having a roll cage installed.

For rims/tires, I am going to repaint my current ones, put BFG's on and chrome lugnuts. For the track, Cragar SS 15x10's rear with 15x4s front.

Then I will POR15 the underside. I would really like this car to be a nice show/street/strip car. So what do you guys think. I have current pics in the website in the signiture. I can take bad opionions with the good so lets hear what you think or suggest.

Sounds sweet man. I'm glad you decided to keep the Camaro. For the stripes, are you going with Heritage Style stripes? I think those would look the best, IMO.

1982chevycamaroz28-I have a red and black interior so the seats will match.
I'll post pics when I get home from Ohio. Maybe I will have by tuesday? Hopefully...

MetalliCamaroRS-Yeah, I want those, somehow manage to keep the pattern with the cowl hood. Also I want the stripes to come down on the back part of the spoiler so you can see them if you look at it from the rear.

Nice car, and sounds like a good plan to me.

My Plan: Polish last two wheels, got one done today. I need to bust my a$$ tomorrow. And I still need to paint them.

-shiny wheels
-stripes
-chrome tips

want
-red/black 4th gen seats
-new hood

dont get rid of all the red in your interior, I need someone to fight off all the haters on this site.

here's what the back of my stripes look like, just an idea.

StngKlr-I may polish mine, I like white rims on it now so I may just get those redone and pick up a extra set and polish them. Switch them back and forth. Please let me know when you get you pictures.

TransAm87-I have pictures I cant get them to link on here, but they are on this website. Let me know what you think, good or bad, these are from the club meeting. I have the red one with the white rims. http://www.angelfire.com/falcon/dave61604/april_6th.htm

jawzforlife1-Hey those are exactly how I want those stripes done on my car. Are those the heritage ones or custom? I love my red interior. I know a lot of people dont care for them but its just a sign of the times!! I like your car also!!

I had them custom made. I belive the orig ones go on the back of the spolier but go stright down, and dont curve about 1/2 inch from the bottom like mine.

your car looked better before those horrific stripes, the heritage ones are nice, but along the GFF and the bow ties and plate, oh well my opinion isn't everyones.

As soon as i can get a new set of turn lamps I'm going to put them on (withouth the bow tires) and take off the front plate. that way you can see the Z28 grill I have. That should clean up the front a little. I also plan on painting the headlight pockets black to match the grill.

4-5 hrs a piece. Not a quick job, but the end result is well worth it.
