You asked for it....
The rims- ugly
The wings- If you're going to add a huge, hideous aftermarket spoiler, take the old one off please.
The red painted drum brakes- I hate when people paint their drum brakes a bright color... When I had my 92RS, I would have painted them black to hide the drums had I not sold it.
The interior- Are those visor covers? Thats the only complaint.. and I think you should carpet the rear cargo area.
The NOS- Can't argue with that.. unless its fake.

I don't get it. Why would you need the tv's in the car for ? I mean I know it's "all the rage" now since everyone saw it in Fast and the Furious . I mean you can't watch when your on the road. so when do you watch TV or play playstation? by the looks of things you spent so much on your car you must be living in it, which then the Tv's would serve a purpose

And I saw the TVs in the sunvisors, but I was referring to the stripes I see around the edges of them. To me, it looked like they were some cheap covers you bought for them.

ok... here's my opinions
I hate the wheels, and the solar panel on the back is hideous.
I could definately live without the krylon interior mods
Monitors in the visors, or in the dash is cool. Monitors in the visors and in the dash is pointless.
Plywood sub box. Nice.
improperly installed nawwwwwssss must really make that tbi fly.
Sorry guy... I don't like the car... at all.

Well Im going to dare to be different and say I like the wheels, because there not the same bs that everyone always gets like irocs, or roh synpers etc etc, as for the bottle you do need to mount that somewhere better like the spare tire compartment. The stereo looks pretty sharp, id put the money somewhere else, but I still like it. Sorry guy but I do have to agree with everyone else that wing is way too much its like the ***** version of the 91-92 z wing, but other than that I like it, and do what YOU want, its your car, being different doesnt get much respect in boards like these.
Well I have to agree with whut most people are saying. One of the two spoilers have to go. Keep the High one if you really like it but the other one has to get taken off. The Interior mods, eh I like them I painted some of my dash pieces with gray paint so they stand out a bit sooo I cant say nothing about them. Brake drums...yeah lets get a coat of black on them. Rims.....well.......uggg....ahhh well ya see...no. 3rd Gens need 5 spokes, no matter what the rim is they need the 5.
And the "NOS" tank. If it is a Real bottle get it sittin right, if it is a glorified bazooooka tube, well I dont think you need that and all the other speakers. I would get rid of the "bottle". And Carpet. I know this sounds like alot of bashing but it really isnt You put some time in your car and that is great, but I just dont like the overall package, but good luck with it.

I am gonna agree with the spoiler thing, I think it looks goofy with the stock spoiler still on it. I dont mind the tall spoiler so much because I have seen it on so many cars that I guess im getting used to it. I would also cover the subwoofer box with carpet so it matches the interior, then it would look alot cleaner. The rims are alright, but I am not a big fan of facemount wheels on any car. And the orange drums are kinda tacky, but I like painted calipers. One thing I do like it the LCD screens in the sun visors. How did you put them in there? Does the backside of the sunvisor still look alright? I want a DVD player in my car, but I cannot figure out where to mount the LCD screen. I Dont want to get a DVD player with a pop up LCD screen built in, becase, just as your does, when it comes out, it covers up the climate controls. I do like the painted blue trim pieces and digital dash though. Kinda cool how your PS2 controller matches the trim too...
Nevertheless, it is a nice thirdgen with a straight body and nice paint, which is becoming less common to see.

Alright i have no idea where to even begin........
It's my own fault for posting pictures of the sub box before it was finished, but it has been carpeted black, which i hope to turn the rest of my interior that color in the near future.
The silver piece is actually fabric so i can route the wires from the TV's without having them come through the back because the sunvisors on our cars are kinda thin...(or so i was told by the installer).
No that's not a BASS TUBE, I have some "*****" on my car, but i wouldn't go all out and get some fake nitrous tube with a sub when i already have 4 of them...
That "solar panel" is a VCR, yeah i know it's from a house, but it has since been replaced with a dreamcast so that's gone.
I know i'm gonna get more comments for this, but for the rims i wanted some 5 spokes that i haven't seen on a camaro.
Ok, good idea, whoever on this board that has spent about $2,500 on their car should live in it.......maybe we could start our own camping ground...
I watch music videos along with the music(Dreamcast) sorta of like watching the news instead of just listening to it on the radio.....same sort of idea......
Ok JIM85IROC i did go a little far with the 3 TV's
One more thing....I bought the wing BEFORE the fast and the furious came out...who thought they made these things before the movie..

Ward,
I got them installed at a local shop for about $175 for the both of them. There is a hole in the sunvisor board that allows the TV's to fit in there and they are held in with some brackets. The silver lining on the sunviors is what hides the wires to get hooked up. They turn on with the cd player. Also the LCD In-Dash i got it Manual flip and didn't get a motorized one so that i could swivel it back and forth and also move it so i can access the climate controls while driving.
If you want an in-dash it's easier to reach the controls with a manual slip screen.
There if you have anymore questions E-Mail Me

I hope your not around tampa, cause if i see that thing i might barf and hit my autometers
wonder if they'll warranty barfing on gauges...
wonder if they'll warranty barfing on gauges... Legacy Amp.....no expense spared.
Just wondering on the Sub box......Is it a box or a plate over the well?
And how about the NOS , the bottle may be real but is it hooked up?
I like your cars look from the outside and I like the front section of the car but the back seems awfull cluttered.
Nate

I love it how people try and be nice, cause its a thirdgen. If you saw that wing on an import, no one would be saying "Good for you for being different" or anything, they'd be bashing the hell out of it. But because its a car you like, you try and be nice about it... just what it seems like to me anyway.

Anyway, I just wanted to make the point that sometimes people try and soften the blow just cause its a fellow thirdgen owner, but they wouldn't do the same to a guy with a riced up Focus.
ok,
well anyways, lower your car,
is that a plate sub box? ?
if so, forget it, get some mdf, liquid nails, 1 1/2 inch screws.
because i hope that isnt a plate because then you are losing allot of performance out of it.
the painting looks decent. if it matches exterior i think its good.
i like the Tv's. i dont like them in your car, they look pretty bad, im sorry, but thats a horrible job.
if ya perfect it, itll look good,
the wing eh.......
rims, again, lower your car.

I have to say that I personally do not like some of the things that are done to your car, but as long as you like it that is what counts. At least your car does not look like every other third gen that came off the assembly line. I give some credit to anyone who builds a thirdgen that does not look stock.

Honestly, if I saw that car, I would just shake my head as you went by or something. The wing is horrible. The wheels I don't care for, look like cheap hub caps. At least paint the drum brake the color of the car. The tint I like. 3 LCD screens is over kill.
I like the color of the car and the pedals. Oh, and get dice that aren't red, doesn't go to well.

Appearantley my sense of style is VERY different then other people on this board,
anyway the subs are mounted in a box that extendeds to the bottom of the well, It's NOT a plate that sits on top.
Even i had to laugh at this one....
The dice are gone as of like 2 weeks ago
Hopefully plan on lowering it and getting a Bowtie grill in the future then moving back to the engine mods once i get paid for my internship in about 2 weeks

Actually, I was referring to the hang-glider spoiler.

I personally don't like the mods to the car. I also don't understand this idea of having TV screens in the car. In an SUV or Minivan, for the kids, yes, but in a Camaro?
Am I a stock-****???
Am I a stock-****???
I like the look of the car from the outside. The wheels are cool, just not on a 3rd gen. Maybe on a newer Grand Prix or something, just not a RWD car... I can even live with the double wing thing you got going, it doesn't look as bad as some people said....not my personal preference but for you I guess its not that bad.
The sunvisors have got to be re-done so that they look rectangular in shape as they should. Their shapes look inconsistent and therefore an eyesore IMO. The screens on them look good and its something I'd go with if I were going with a custom look. The one in the dash is too much IMO. I think one in each visor is plenty or just get creative and flush mount one in the dash under the A/C vents in the center.
I don't care for the exhaust tips too much. At least tuck them up closer to the bumper!
The plywood in the hatch...covered or uncovered, it just looks like it was done in a hurry from leftover wood. Take the time and have a box built out of MDF and you will be surprised how much more solid the bass is. Your subs look like they've been thru hell! At least have 4 that match.... 2 and 2 just seems like you had them laying around, they fit, so you used them. The RF subs look like they've seen better days.
If I had to rate it on a 1 to 10 I'd say a solid 6. You took some time and came up with a decent look. Only problem is it looks like you used all used parts and settled for things just because they were on hand and/or cheap.

It's obvious that you spent a great deal of money on the car but here is my opinion. The wing, everyone is right, it's too much. I have seen some wings that looked good but that one just doesn't work for the car. Nice try though. The rims, not my favorite, but I could see using them, but I would rather have 2000 Vette rims. The TVs, even thought they are pointless and some what stupid, are still a good touch if you plan on making your car a show car. Other than that I think it was a waste of money (unless your circle of friends is into gong one better than the other then you made a good choice...bragging rights are sometimes the best reason to do something).
If you lose the wing or maybe find one that looks better on the car, put some carpet on the sub box (would suggest building a plexiglass box with some neons in it instead of wood), and fix the NOS putting it in a better place, then I would say you have a winner. But, that is of course, my opinion.

People who outright flame someone because they think the car sucks, or looks gay, tacky, etc.
I'll tell it how I see it.
I'm not fond of the big wing on the back. Or the stock wing hanging out on the back.
The painted interior looks tacky to me.
The LCD's (cool idea), but they're overdone. Don't need three of them, do you?

The wheels I do like. I'd like them better if you had a black colored car.
But, look at it this way. It IS your car. I'm not trying to rip you apart, or say that your car is gay, etc.
You've obviously put a lot of time and money into the car to make it your ride. Do what you like, not what someone else tells you to do.
And you seem to take criticism well, so stick around. The car could quite grow on me.
I don't think the wheels look that bad IMO. They are different and atleast they aren't 13x7 wire's so I'll be easy on ya.
The rear aftermarket spoiler seems too out of place. I'd replace it with a 91-92Z High-Rise Spoiler if that's the look you're going for. But it's all about what makes you happy.

Hmm, didn't read all the replies but saw most of them. I have to agree with everyone.
-Hate the rims
-Hate the hang glider spoiler
-TV's in a car? Come on now
-VCR in a car? Come on now
-That Nitrous bottle better be hooked up and not for looks
-Painted Drums....a no no
All in all, I think you would want to talk to that girl in the red firebird that dumped everything she had into appearance mods and the car still looked sick. But hey, do what ya got to do and if you like it, then go with it.

it's way to ***** for me! let's not get too testy on here. it is his car and i'm sure he appreciates it and likes it. its a thirdgen! he did ask, but no need to be mean about it. lot of money into his car and i'm sure he doesnt appreciate the nastiness on here

People are entitled to their opinions, and i asked for them, plus i think of it as constructive criticism

Dude you should of bought a honda(honda fågs would respect that @#!$# more)
I have 1 question for you, Why do you have NOS. If you wanted to go fast the last thing you want is weight..... right??
