Ok.. heres my 91 v6 firebird. I've got the stock rims and GTA rims that need paint. I sanded down two of the GTA rims and painted one with dupli-color spray and clearcoat. Here's the question... which rims to use... the STOCK rims, the GTA sanded down without paint, or the GTA painted metallic color. VOTE! =) Also I'll attach some pics of my car i can get this thing to work. Its kinda dirty (bird crap and pollen) but thas ok

Oh... maaco painted my car about 2 years ago... $230. the paint still shines when the car is clean

oh here's something interesting... my headlight motors are destroyed (the part that mounts to the car) so I ripped them out... rewired the car, and put the headlights where the stock foglights go.... no more up and down headlights (i never liked the look of them up anyway)

 

look just alike.Mine is the same color and I took my gold GTA rims and sripped the paint off and re-did them met. silver.In my opinion that made my car look at least 10 times better!!JMO

 

Go with the metalic painted ones.

 

I think the dark center looks better. I always thought GTA wheels looked alot more like this though..

hmmm... what are they if they aren't? I bought them off a guy that had them sitting in his garage for $50 (all four with tires). He needed to get rid of them fast... said they were off his TA.

 

They look like 15's so I don't think they're GTA's (16x8) But the Crosslace is a good wheel design (whether BBS, Chapparal or Pontiac)

Those wheels with dark grey centers on a dark green car looks kind of Red Army to me, I'd either leave them silver or paint the centers gold if you want two tone wheels.

 

Well they might have come off of his T/A, but that doesnt mean that they are GTA rims. Actually, theres no need to think they are even stock GTA rims when the center cap says "ARE".

Anyways the rims arent that bad. But I say either keep them painted or polish them. Just sanding them kills the appearance. They look very dull that way. Really, I like your stock Rims better, but thats me. Just my opinions.

they are A.R.E wheels....look at the center cap......check your tire and see what the profile is...at the end it will say R15 I bet. 15" incher
