Looking good so far. You'll need about another three weeks solid, and a lot of Gunk and Autosol (not sure if you guys have that in the US), plus mucho elbow grease to get from this........

DO IT!!!! I Did, swapped in an LG4 for the 2.8 in my 87 maro.... not much of a HP difference (150 vs 135) but the torque makes up for it (240 vs 165) best of all I still get the EXACT same gas mileage!! Others will say that the swap isn't worth it & neither is an LG4 but I think I made the right choices.

Wow, looks good. That'll be next spring for me, along with polishing my plenum and runners.

Yeah I really wanna do it. My car has 231,000kms. It **MIGHT** still have the original engine in it. And it runs good. The only rust is in the drivers side rear panel, but I am getting the body work done this winter. I looked under my car the other day, the ONLY rust I could see was on the floor pan, i'm just gonna sand it off.

I don't know what 305 I will put in it. I probally won't be able to find a f-body engine cause my town only has 38,000 people, btw, I am in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. So I guess me and my dad will put in a small block chevy 305. The only mods I want to do is Exhaust and anything else that helps gas Mileage.

I am hoping to have this done by the time I get my licence. (I'm 15) WOOHOO 3 MORE MONTHS till i'm rippin up the road. :lala:

Since I have a Auto 4 spd tranny I need to get a different one to fit the v8 right? A Radiator? and what else? I know i need from springs but they arnts nesessary either.

BTW, If you live in BC, whenever the cascade crew has a meet in BC I will come down cause I wanna visit my Auntie and Uncle that I havn't seen in the longest time.

P.S. I Think I will be able to beat most cars on the road, considering the low population and ****. Theirs a Mustang in our town that has a fake 'Blower' hood scoop BOLTED on, you can see the bolts and all. Everytime I see it drive by when I am Skateboarding I laugh my *** off. lol.
Holy **** why is this post so long lol.

glow in the dark?

Sitting Bull,

The reason the air cleaner looks like that, is because I got overexposed due to a rare metrological phenomena...we had some sunshine!

Oh come on now... The UK has NEVER seen sunshine. It rains there 24/7. Its true... I have seen it in movies. lol j/k

Both engine bays look really nice. I really need to do mine as well. I have a whole bunch of stuff I need to do in the engine bay as well. I still have a strut tower brace to paint and add. Also all new hoses and other misc stuff... Someday. Maybe I will take a day off work.

Very nice. I'd say ditch the single snorkel.

DSLDUDE,
I am indebted to you for my very first lala dance. I shall mark the event with a beer!

Mark,

I guess you don't just mean the plastic snorkel and keep the stock lid. You'll be talking dual snorkels and/or ram air stuff? Any significant benefits from these. i.e. 5-10 horses???

Twistopher,

Sun yesterday, this today.

Thanks to all for positive feedback...I just love that car.
