Pics of my new 1991 Trans Am GTA ! ! !

It's a Medium Green Metallic car that the seller just put a Maaco paint job on in burgandy I'm going to repaint it to the original color in about 2 months, it's the very first thing I'll do. There is also a pic of my son in the car and a picture of me with the cars. I also have a new sig pic

BTW, in the end I talked him down to only $800 !!!

New Floor mats, seat covers, and steering wheels cover go on first thing tomorrow. The ENTIRE interior needs to be redone including headliner and carpet. Most of the interior plastic is broken so all of that will have to be replaced too. It has the wrong size tires on it but when I get some Goodyear take-off's from SLP for my 92, the one's that are on my 92 now will go on it. I'm going to get the healight fixed and get them missing front GFX before I paint it back to the original color.

BTW, it took me about 3 hours of work to get the engine even that clean, which is still dirty! Before, when you opened the hood, all you saw was mud and dirt, you couldn't even tell what color stuff was. I also vacuumed it and washed it. I'm also going to replace the tranny mount tomorrow. One thing though, the engine and tranny run freakin PERFECT! The car has 145,000 miles and runs like 50K

It's going to be my daily driver until I can blow up the engine which should give me pleanty of time to build the new engine and restore the rest of it. I'm going to restore it to factory on the outside and have the inside look just like a 91-92 Compitition Firehawk's with the engine in my sig Basically I want it to be the car that was never built that I've always wanted, a 91 T-Top Trans Am 1LE Compitition Firehawk with a 427 SBC stroker and a supercharger!

I must say the paint job looks good, and looks like you got a great deal.

Killer Find!

Looks like you got a good deal. Some TLC and $$ and it'll look great! I can't believe people let their interiors become such TOILETS!! Let us see pix along the way as you bring it back to life.

great car....although I love the color the last owner painted it....I think the two cars make a wonderful color match.

Have fun fixing it up, looking forward to seeing the original color.

Thank guys!

It was for sale about 3 blocks from where I work here in Bakersfield. It was parked on a street corner for 2 months with an asking price of $3K in the window.
