shorty spoiler...how easy to switch high rise
shorty spoiler...how easy to switch high rise
I currently have the 88 shorty wing that came with the 88 sport coupes. How easy would it be to switch to the z28 high rise spoler. will it use the same holes as the shorty wing?
Also slightly off topic but......my car title says 88 camaro RS but it has no RS badging. And the person i purchased the car from also said it was an RS. So is it an RS or a sport coupe?

(except RS's were all one color and SC's were 2-tone)

You know, thats the one and only wing that came on our cars, and its one of the least common. Its also the only one I don't like, and its what I've got. Go figure. And yep, no RS in 88 they're Sport Coupes. I got one.

YES i have a 88 sport coupe too i did lots of mods including a sweet ram air hood and that spoiler does nees to be taller back there to match the front of my car... I really think it is a nice spoiler its just to short. i want the z28 high rise too and i want to know if it will bolt right up.. it sure looks close exept for the fact that the third light is inside it and theres not one in the z28 high rise. they put it in the window in that model.
I'm pretty sure the center 2 holes line up, but the ones on the end will need to be filled if they go through the body, and painted over no matter what. I'd have the whole decklid repainted with the spoiler for good measure. I was told by a custom shop it'd be $200 for a paint and install.
