He wanted me to post some pics to see what think of the color and how you think it turned out for his first time painting a car.

He still has to wetsand and buff it out..

I'd put a little body filler over those seems and smooth out the cowl to hood area. Looks a little goofy... like the cowls attached with glue. Smooth it out and it'll look SAWEET!

I agree about the cowl needing to be smoothed but other than that the paint job is really good! Especaily for a first time job

i agree about the cowl deal, but he said he didnt want to do that, its fiberglassed and riveted on, he wanted to leave the rivits the silver color but he painted them..

CHECK OUT THOSE MEATS IN BACK!! Anyway, paint turned out pretty good. Like the color.

did he even put an clear coat on it. that thing looks like it primer blue. but yea those meats are huge

There is no way to honestly evaluate a paint job from looking at pictures. All that can be said is that it is all one color, and that color is blue.

HOLY TIRES!!!!!!!!!


It'll look a lot better after some sanding and buffing. Good work. What kind of $$$$ did that little adventure set him back?

He didnt have to pay for the paint it was given to him, there was 3/4 gallon.. He just had to pay for primer, sand paper, paint thinner, and bondo.

There was no clear sprayed it just needs to be wet sanded and wheeled out.

Yea the tires are huge, but they were given to him when he really needed them..

Looks alright : ) Love the color.....please have your friend get the overspray off of the high-beam headlights.

its not overspray, they were like that before, they are the weird lights that are really bright, and appear bluish??
