SS hood came in today
After waiting on the Jongblood hood for over a year, I finally went and bought a SS hood from Thunder racing. The fit of the hood was great right out of the box and the finish looks real good on it. Going to try to spray some paint on it this weekend maybe.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Yeah those are the Snypers on there. I still can't belive how good the hood fit out of the box and the finish on the hood. I'm very impressed with American Sports Car Design glass work.

Superman, I installeld 2 of these hoods last weekend. Both of them sat too high on the passenger side right by the windshield... did yours do that? Seemed like a design problem. You can sort of see it sitting too high on the red car.

PopaPork,
Yes I was the guy that had the hole in the hood. Had that damn thing for over a year waiting on the Jongblood hood that never seemed to go anywhere.
Lock,
My hood fit absolultey perfect. I have used a few other companys glass hoods on other cars I have had and none of them compare to the fit of this one.
RSpeed,
I think me and you have the same taste in stuff. Our cars are very very similar, not just in apperrance.
To everybody else, thanks again for the kind words. Its been a long time coming to get a hood. I'm trying to talk myself into just going ahead and repainting the whole car instead of just the hood. I guess I'll wait and see what happens in the next few days.

With that hole in the hood, and I guess with any hood with a scoop on it, Whut did you do about rain water gettin in there. And did you notice a improvment in the car. I kinda of liked the air cleaner poppin up.

What I did about the rain was not drive it when it was raining. About the only benfit of the hole I saw was that the under hood temeratures were lower. The hole was alot more trouble than anything.
