What do you think of these Photoshopped mods?

For those of you who are familiar with my recent wreck, you may or may not know that I was thinking of selling my car. Well, I've decided that I'm not going to sell it... instead, I'm going to get a repaint because they can't get the color matched very well, and a new paint job would make my car look brand new (the interior is perfect the way it is). The car will remain "IROC Blue," but I plan on doing a few minor body mods before it gets painted. Which one of these do you like best?

#1: How my car currently looks (stock).
#2: Taillights sprayed with VHT black spray.
#3: Black/white striping removed from ground effects.
#4: Same as #3, but with windows and hatch tinted.

I want to keep the "IROC-Z" logo on the door simply because I want people to know that I'm driving the highest model Camaro . I've still got a little bit of time left before I make my decision, but I know everyone here will help me out.

It looks good but I like the stock look better. The stripes are nice to me and I would just get blackouts instead of painting the taillights.

Where did you get those tips you had on there again and what were the dimensions??

The old tips or the new ones? When I bought the car, it came with cheap 3" tips that looked (in my opinion) really bad... they just were too long and I couldn't fit them underneath the car.

The tips that I have on right now (which I did remove from those pictures above), are called Gibson Sport Tips. They're 6x2.75 inch rectangular tips... I don't have a picture of my car with them on, but here is the pic from their website:

I agree, tint the windows, but leave the stripes. With your metallic blue paint they really stand out nice.

I went #4, I like it better with the tint and no stripes. I think stripes kinda clutter things up.

I say stock! Anyone can mingle up a car but over years it's hard to find a older car in great stock condition. See mine.

IROCZTWENTY, here are two pics of the old (rusted) tips. I think they'd have looked better if they were tucked underneath the rear bumper a few more inches.

Right, I agree with you to a point. I recently decided to try out some tint, but I used to absolutely hate it... I still would have to see how it would look in person. Since I'm most likely going for a repaint, it won't be completely stock anyway (which is why I may opt to do some slight appearance mods).

Here is a larger image of the car with the rocker emblem removed, gfx striping, and tint. I decided to remove the taillight blackouts because I'd eventually get pulled over anyway. Besides, I'd do the "amber delete" mod to the lense so it would be different anyway.

Thanks for the comments so far... keep them coming!

What is this? One of those games where you list the difference in the pix. I dont mind the tint or black outs. Looks good to me.

If you want to try something different with your tail lights, try painting the grid (and the inner-most section that is black) the same color as the car. That gives it a different look without looking cheap, or ghetto, like how I think blackouts look.

when you have the car repainted remove the strips on the middle of the doors. It looks so much cleaner with out them.

#2 with tinted windows.

Why on earth do people remove the IROC graphics from their IROCs?It's just plain stupid.I mean what's the point of owning an IROC if you don't have it's decals. They make it part of the car's appeal!

That's a good idea; I never thought of that. I'll have to Photoshop one and see how it looks.

I was seriously considering this, until I got a few recommendations from people to leave them on or else I would get a lot of dings in the door... this car will be a daily driver so I wouldn't be surprised if some careless people let their door touch my car.

Yes it does, mine were removed when my car was repainted. On the other hand, if they had been left on, I might not have this nasty scratch in my door from my mom opening the door on her station wagon and hitting my drivers side door with it.
