Polished My Taillights!!!

Took one off for today to polish. The first coat didn't do much, but I applied 2 more coats of the polish and it worked great.

Blue Magic Plastic and Plexiglass Cleaner, also some Back 2 Black by Mothers. For the black parts of the taillights.

MAN, now I see why you had those blackouts. Lookin good. My first one took a little bit of elbow grease, I guess it depends on how bad of shape they are in. Did you have any problems getting them off? Which do you like better, the polished tails or tails with the blackouts?

They came out great Mark. I'm lucky enough to be blessed with clean taillights already

I liked the blackouts better, but this doens't look bad. I'll do the other one tomorrow. It was easy to take them off, but the tag light was tricky to put back in.

Wow thats nice work. I'd leave the covers off, IROC-Z tail lights are already nice. Your car is coming along. Take some newer pictures when you get the chance, and then some more when you fix that dent.

You know I'll take plenty of pics. The driver side light lense has a crack in it though, not bad though. I'm probably going to put that 113 wax and Bead X on it tomorrow. So check out later tomorrow for some pics.

Now throw some LEDs behind those lenses and it will look even better. With mine.. after I gave them a thorough washing I sprayed some clear paint on them and they still shine today.

I used their Plastic and Plexiglass Cleaner and light scratch remover. It's in a white bottle with blue sticker label.
