i just got done lowering my car
i just finished lowering my car today. my car used to sit real funny. it was higher in the front than in the back. i hated the way it looked, so i ordered the Eibach 1 inch drop kit for my car. so i just put in the springs to level it out. im not going to put the back springs in because i like the way it looks now. i think i might sell the back springs. heres some pics, let me know what you think.

hey thanks for the pictures I ve been looking for pictures of a thirdgen on eibachs pro kits springs. So did you change anything else like shocks or struts? If you have any pictures of the front wheel to see how much gap between the fender and the tire, please post them.

thanks for all the compliments. they were very easy to install. i think it took me arou 4-5 hours. i was able to do it right on my garage floor with some jackstankds and a floorjack. just take your time and be safe. the tires i have on my car are 245/50 R16s and they rub alittle at full lock. as for changing the shocks, no, i did not. the guy who owned the car before me had put in those adjustable shocks (i don't know what type). they are pretty much brand new so there was no point in changing them. go to https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...710#post753710 for pics of the install and the comparrison of the old and new springs.
PS. i only did the front springs, not the back.

looks good, but i think since you have them, you should install the rear springs. you'll have better, more predictable handling. it's alot easier to install them in the rear, too! takes less than an hour. unbolt the bottom of the shocks and lower the rear with a floor jack while the car is supported by jackstands. very easy, good results. just my opinion. looks good.

Looks great. I was thinking of doing the exact same thing to my S/E, because the front sits up higher than the back. Where did you buy your pro kit and how much did it cost?

if i lower the back i will have the same problem that i originaly started with. the front end will be to high again. its just that everything would be lower.

yea, say if the rear was sagging an inch, the 1 inch lowering springs arent going to lower it an inch on top of that, theyll lower it an inch from stock height so it would even out...
my car sags so much, so im just getting suspension techniques 1 inch lowering springs, and im not expecting any lower stance since its low from sagging already lol just nicer springs with a little more stiffer ride compared to the stock.
edit: i just saw the newer pics of the rears installed, looks mean as he11 dude
