I don't think neons would look good on that car simply because it is red. There really isn't a colored neon that goes well with it IMO. If it were white, then you'd be able to use any color.
As far as mounting is concerned, it depends on the kit where they are mounted. Most are mounted on toward the gfx where subframe connectors are mounted. However, if you have SFCs, you could probably mount them there.
No offence, but you wrote a lot of non-sensical garble here. Please check what you write before you hit the post button. I'm kinda having trouble understanding what you were saying other than neons and where they mount.

before you permanently mount them check with someone and see if they can see the tubes..if you are alone(which you shouldnt) jump out from under the car...where i put my sides are directly behind my side skirts(i have an iroc though not sure if yours will be the same) and you cant see the bulbs..the front and the back are mounted on the brackets where the rebars used to be(took them out for customization...another story)..
they look good if done properly..ive gotten soo many replies on them that i think they do well on any car not just 3rd gens

We recently installed 2 Street glow Blueline kits and them some. The car is red and the kits are red.
We mock installed everything with just the one kit. With the car as low as it is the kit looked bad. The light seemed too patchy. The short tube was too short for the front. I wanted it to be a nice glow all over under the car. I wanted there to be no unlit sections. I also did not want the tubes the be visible. It ended up that the short tubes that are designed for the front were just the right length for the side s if you placed 2 of them on each side. So we got another kit. I used the long tubes in the front and back. 2 long tubes are up front, on each side of the airdam. I have one long tube in the rear. I mounted it in a channel that is right where the rear bumper ends under the car. The last long tube got mounted on the torque arm. The short tubes fit in nicely between the subframes and the pinch weld.
Then we checked the lighting and found some blank spaces. My centered exhaust covered up a huge amount of the neon. So off to Discount. They just started to carry neons. I got a Street glow 20 in tube. This mounted on the gas tank heat shield b/w my exhaust pipes before the tips. Then we mounted 2 15in tubes to the rear axle tubes. Then for a finishing touch, a 12in slim tube was mounted to the front side of the crossmember. Now the only blank spot is at the transmission crossmember. We will probably tackle this in the next week or so. I am getting some pics developed from the last show I was at. Hopefully I will have them online by the end of the week.
