that would look so bad, nothing like the picture, but I could like the night rider light for the drivers side corner of the window

Not to bad, would be cool if it could say something besides "security" and you could mount the part that emits the laser somewhere out of site.

the knightrider thing is kinda gay I think though.

I'm curious as to where that would 'shine' since a 3rdgen has a dash shaped nothing close to that . It just seems like another pointless gadget to put in a car and make your wallet lighter.

The 'lil lady might enjoy the shape of the laser part tho.. :sillylol:

I actually like the 'knight rider' one but not in red. I have seen alot of people get them in other colors (green/blue/yellow) to match their color scheme and hook them up to their alarms. When they drive its off but when the alarm is armed it will go on.

Well the only thing I could think of why the laser would be cool is if it had a motion detector on it. I would point it at the steering wheel and it would say something like WS6, Redbird_400 or Pontiac. If someone got in the motion detector would see that and set of a allarm or set off a shock, gun, car drives around by itself and scares the theif. Well thats a little too far but the allarm idea I think is cool.

Scanner

Hi this is Jim from Mobile Emotions. I noticed a few hits from this board and then read the comments. I had to laugh. That security light is a very slow seller and yes even I think it is cheesy. It would be cool if programable.

I would go with the simple LED light to show you have an alarm or for the more creative person check these out.

http://store.yahoo.com/mobile-emotions/varaddecal.html - I am out of stock right now, but should be getting some in a week or two.

The thin LED scanners looks cool.

I am trying to get in stock the Varad underbody LED kits. Two 4' tubes with 48 LED's per tube and a programable light show. Looks killer in the demo's I have seen.

Thanks,

Jim

Motion detector

I assume you could wire it to the output that makes the light flash when someone gets near or bumps your car. This depends on the capability of your alarm. Look at the output functions of your alarm. If it pushes a 12 volt signal out then it will work.

I personally don't sell alarms so I don't know which alarm systems can handle this.

another idea

If you run a light dancer (sound activation for neons $10) The light would come on if it heard your prealarm noise of when something loud happened outside of the car.

thanks,

Jim
