Well.....thats not what happened....

I followed that post since this morning when jucinGTA posted a pic of a "riced-out thirdgen". He was unaware that the person that owned the car posted on these boards. When he found out, his reply that started it all was simply this.

After this post he was bashed/flamed....shot at and spit on. He tried to defend himself and was subsequently put on probation.

Thanks guys for the Complements on the Hood, it is a 4inch Glassteck hood, I got it for 375. If you want one let me know, you would have to freight it though.

The fact that upsets me though is that it wasnt the same for everyone involved....look at some of the things that iroc2nv posted. That was when the real flame war began.

But, the post was not started by iroc2nv and, the flame war would have never started/gotten out of hand if the post had not been made in the first place.

Also, if REV was not a member of this board, would that have made it acceptable to continue bashing his car ?

In no way has JucinGTA "bashed" this mans car...read the post. He simply said "look". Now if you want to clasify that a bashing than everyone that subscibes to this forum would be on probation.

In no way do I support anyone making fun of anyone else's ride...on this forum. The point I am TRYING to make(albiet unsuccesfully) is that he said not 1 bad thing about the car other than it looked rice.....IT WAS JUST AN OPINION.

Now do I make fun of other peoples cars??? Of course I do! If I recognize the car as being on this forum, however, I state my opinion and move on. The fact is is that there are just some cars out there that make me laugh. When was the last time you saw a 19sec honda civic with a TRD window sticker and a powered by honda sticker not 12" appart? Yes, I absolutly laugh at that.

It was plainly written in the thread before it was locked. You DO NOT start threads to "defend" yourself. This is a technical website, and I don't give a damn who started this arguement and who was defending who. You sound like a bunch of ****ing 12 year olds crying "He started it, I was just defending myself!"

You'd think it would be perfectly obvious that when the original thread was closed, that it meant DROP THE SUBJECT. It doesn't mean start a new thread on the exact same damn bull****.
