Chrome Plated or Dipped 16in' Firebird rims

Does anyone have or no of someone who has done this or just sells the 16in firebird rims chrome plated???? My clearcoat is starting to peel of so I was thinking of sandblasting them and having them chrome plated??? How do you guys think these would look, and if someone could possibly photoshop something together that would be great... Thanx Guys.

For the cost of chrome plating I'd think it be cheaper to buy new wheels. Just having some small brackets and misc stuff chromed cost me almost $500. I can't imagine how expensive a wheel would be much less 4 of them.

Yea you got a point... I wonder how the early 4th gen chrome style rims would look on my car?? Its such a hard decision because the color of my car is the Maui Blue, its a gr8 color just a hard choice on rims... And I want to stay 16in because I got BRAND NEW tires on it... LoL

Are they the crosslaced GTA wheels or the WS6 wheels? I have the GTA's and the clearcoat wore off the outer lip of them. I just sprayed some paint stripper on them and polished the lip and repainted the center. They look nice as hell! If you have the Ws6 wheels you can do the same thing. Mask off the painted sections and strip off all of the clear coat. You could polish if you wanted to but its alot or work on those wheels. If you strip the clear coat and put a new coat on they will look almost new.
