What front ends fit?

Hey guys, lookin for some spice...what Chevy or Pontiac front clips would bolt onto an 87 Bird? I was thinkin of swapping in a Camaro front while retaining all the other Firebird stuff. How about Monte-Carlos? Im just digging here. Thanks!

Actually, in my area, I've seen a couple of people driving a Monte Carlos/Camaro hybrid. I'm not sure if it's a Monte Carlos kit or a custom Camaro, but they have the rear from a Monte and the front end from a 'Maro. I know they make camaro front ends for El Camino's, but I have to admit, the Monte Carlos made me do a double take, and they looked pretty good.

I dont have the 87 front end, the thing was wrecked and the last owner threw on like an 83 front end or one of them years, and I got an ugly fender. Plus i like to be different. Thanks guys.

the el camino is able to have stock iroc, t\a and monte (if it didnt come with the monte front from factory) so i would think that you could put a monte clip on your car. i think that the camino and f-body doors can be switched, not sure about that one though.

thanks

This is kinda off topic but I'm planning SOME TIME DOWN THE ROAD to make a replica 1st gen nose (minus the chrome) and just kind of adapt it to the lines of a 3rd gen and stick it on there. I need a junk 3rd gen to try it on. I'm going to learn how to bend sheet metal and lay fiberglass sometime soon and then I'll try this project

If this is it... its not an actual camaro nose bolted on... its just a body kit. LOL look around and check out the "IROC-SS" El Camino!

anybody notice they sell a camaro front clip with composite headlights. oh and the lumina nose "upgrade" if you could call it that. thats what i will do, i will put a lumina nose on my iroc, that would be bitchin not really. but i am in the works of using the composite head lights from anouther gm product (cant say what because i wouldnt want anyone copying off me befor i have it done) to enhance the front of my iroc.

thanks

I was just looking at a Monte today, my idea looks do-able. Well not super simple, but the fender-door lines almost look the same if im not mistaken. I dunno, I guess I'll have to take a trip to the ol U-Pull it and see what I can do. Or maybe I can make the hood open up backwards or somethin like that. I'm ALWAYS thinkin. This is a little off the topic, but could they make it anymore of a b!^@h to put new lights in the gauge cluster? Goodness!
