Does anyone know what size tire I can run on a 15x6 rim that will keep the OD around 26. I was thinking a 215/65/15?

 

215/65R15 is exactly 26 in, but a tire that looks very good, for a 15, is 235/60R15, it is 26.1 in, but those numbers vary slightly w/brand and tire wear, so I would recommend 235/60R15, semi wide and very nice profile

I was trying to get the thinest tire on the 15x6 to run it on the front. I could run a thinner rim but don't want to on the street. But I do want it to look good too. I'm also gonna be running 16X8s on the back. They are the WELD Prostar XPs.

 

185/75R15 is 25.9 in, thin, but just under 26, probably look pretty good

 

You don't think it might be too thin for a 15x6 rim?

 

you may need to make sure when look at tires, but I know that 185 should be the tread width in mm, so when you divide 185 mm by 25.4(the number of mm in an inch), you get 7.2 inches, but not all tires are the same, so check the tread width before you buy

i have a 15x6 on the front of my bird and im runnin 205-65-15 tires. its around 26" and it looks good.

LOL, I'm tired of the factory ones. I think I'm gonna go with some Weld Prostar XPs. I might keep the front ones 16x8 instead of15x6 but haven't really decided yet. I know for sure the rears will be 16x8.
