my driver side park lamp up front has a heavy haze look, the passenger side is fine(but think it was replaced a few years back)i want to know if it can be fixed,or just dump another $40 for one??tried to search it,and saw about sealing them up,and on the other side cutting a notch for drainage??

dude, just pop it out, clean it out well on the inside and outside. I used some "simple green" which worked like a charm. For the seal I would sugges going to your local plumbing store and finding a circular rubber gasket which is the same size as the opening, that worked for me, but if the moisture is getting in somewhere else I can't help you.
Hey btw when you have them out try this trick to take the haze off the lense. Start wetsanding it with a 400, then 600 and then 1000 grit sandpaper and a palm sander. Easy with teh 400, you dont want to take too much off, but just keep your eyes on things, and then work into the finer and finer grits.
Once you are done with the sanding hit them with a good quality wax, I use the meguyars 3-step system and pollish out the lenses, once you are done they will look like new.
Before popping them back onto the car let them dry well in the sun. Hopefully that will help you out
See the attached.
good luck,
Dave

Do the lights simply pop out? Which direction do they come out? I'm assuming they pop out towards you? Is there any trick to it? Sorry for all the questions, but I've been meaning to do this! And your reply has inspired me!

I just bought some NIteshade, it's a spray on tint. Only thing is you can see they're still discolored when the lights are on.

To get the lights/light lenses out just reach behind and then twist out the bulb/socket, then there are two screws/bolts holding them into place. These are a little bit of a bitch to get at, but with a couple swivels and extensions it isnt all that bad. Once the screws/bolts are gone the will just slide out towards the front of the car with a little tap from behind, relatively easy. I was amazed at how well it worked when I first did it that I actually got adventurious and removed that spray on tint stuff from my rear tail lights, using the same method and they turned out awsome too!
Like Hg mentioned below, it might be better to pick-up that plexi-glass cleaner and give it a shot too. Probably the same thing (a mild abrasive and then a polish), but it probably makes less mess since you are not wetsanding.
Good luck!
