17 inch Mondera Devanti Wheels
They don't look *****, they are rice. I am more of a snyper man on camaro's and a firehawk man on Firebirds. I just thought one of the ricers on the board would like them and I was correct. I sold them for 400.00 about 10 minutes ago.

I think those look ugly. Good looking rims that fit our cars are expensive. Import guys get all the benefits when it comes to wheels. Almost every wheel manufacturer makes a wheel for them in just about any style for less than 1000 with tires. This fact almost makes me want to buy an import to just to get the wheels I want to fit without using wheel adapters or spacers.

The import guys don't want to have the exact same wheels as their buddies, and they don't have to...they have 100s of styles to choose from, and a year from now they'll have hundreds more, since the good manufacturers discontinue the wheels every couple years to keep their offerings fresh.
Those wheels aren't "rice"...those are what is known as "Homie Chromes" around here. They'd look right at home on an Escalade, Navigator, or other high capacity drug dealer vehicle!

Hey LT1 guy, my main argument was that import guys can get wheels cheaper than us. 4.75 backspacing is the oddball compared to the highly popular 120mm (4.5) bolt circle. The wheels I like and that fit my car cost more than a $1000 for just the wheels. I can't afford that, at least not for a v6 car.
I agree with LT1guy. Just because you dont like the look of something dosnt mean its RICE. Everything here is RICE if you dont like it ... PRETTY LAME!! Those wheels belong on a 'bling bling' mobile ... not an import ....

Imports have so many choices because all those wheels have a universal bolt pattern & the same offset so they can make 1 wheel and have it fit 10 million cars. Our cars use a specific offset/bolt pattern that will ONLY fit RWD GM cars years 92 and older. Now take the fact that the overwhelming majority of the wheel-buying folks that need that bolt pattern & offset are classic car owners and you begin to see why we don't have "bling bling" wheels available.
But... take away the low quality universal wheels and what you are left with in the import market are a couple brands of high quality wheels that cost just as much as the same style in our bolt pattern & offset.

well i really really like them. im not rice at all and those dont really look rice. they are chrome which to me is a bonus and they have 5 spokes. just because they are chrome and not thin doesnt mena tghey are rice. i just bought a new set or 17" 9 spoke chrome rims but they look great. its not rice at all but its flashy, a good flashy. some people mistake that for rice a lot when it really isnt. im not trying to start anything at all on here because im just anpother opinion but i just wish some people could lay low just a little bit on the rice stuff. just my 2 cents. now it would be rice on a lime green camaro with stickers all over it and nothing done to the engine!

They are not ***** at all... ghetto-licious is the term I would use.
Bling bling

Under no circumstance you buy aftermarket rims for a Escalade or Navigator that are "underage"

The rims form companies like mine are part of the uppercrust. Higher $ rims that are made for a short time and in Limited #s. Mine were priced at $400 per. I got them for less because they were discoed, but then you have to factor in the Spacers. I would have to look up the final cost, but I think it was around $1600.00 ($500+ was for the spacers) But I got what I wanted, a different rim that hardly anyone runs due to quantity and $. Plus IMO they look sweet, go with my dragon theme, and are not so overwelmingly chrome. I was going for an airy rim.
And the funny thing is people call these rice, but I have never seen them on an import. In fact I don't think those boys will spend that $ on a rim. You really don't see many imports with Niche, MTX, or Neeper rims! (all the same company)

Your right Redraif, you don't see import cars with your wheels, mainly because only a few people like that style. Most of us are 5 spoke fans. 3 spokes is kind of odd, but as long as you like them that is all that matters.
Mine too are also discontinued for the past 4 years......
I have yet to see them on an import also......although they do make a cheap knock-off of my rims made by American Racing and sold at Pepboys.....

No, I know how few 3 spoke rims there are and how even rarer it is to find them in a decent look. Honestly I only found one other set of 3 spoke I liked and they were made by Neeper. All the others looked too cheapy. I went thru over 250-300 rim companies looking at rims before I found something. I used a computer program and tried 100s of rims on my car till I found some I liked. Still I came back to mine.

well, i'm obviously not one to follow todays youth culture in their "ghetto is better" trends, yes i'm rather young, but IMHO all this garbage now-a-days is all monkey-see, monkey-do...........those wheels are part of this "ghetto" culture, that i for one, dont seem to understand
i think of what the world is coming to, and i feel sad

i saw a set of wheels exactly like yours on a newer black caviler that had been wrecked. the car is still there but it was where you could see it from the road and it was the end car so u could see the wheels realy easy. the wheels were only on it for like a week before apperntly they sold them cause then it was setting on stock cavy rims

Hey, I ment to ask you before, but what did you do spacer wise to fit your Neepers? Did you use a single plate spacer, or did they have to use 2 plates.
They change the bolt pattern from 4 3/4" to 5x100mm

They can just keep shoveling out the same crap, with a few small details changed, and people keep buying it. BTW any of the fourth gen style wheels that are so popular on third gens require spacers, too, so whats the difference?

Not true! These are nice <img src=http://www.wheelsforless.com/images/Abaja.jpg>
But you have a point cause these are better.
<img src=http://www.centerlinewheels.com/w_catalog/00racing_small.jpg>
Now there must be a good reason why these kind have be popular for 45 years, cause there are Phatt!
