Painintg Vents

I am looking to add a little bit of color to my interior. I was wondering what is the best way to go about doing this.

Should I goto the store and buy some white spray paint and a few scotch brite pads, scuff the vents down and then spray paint them. Or should I goto streetbeatcustoms.com and buy their special paint that sticks to plastic without scuffing it?

Also when I paint the vents, should I take out the little plastic pieces in the middle of the vent? I was kinda thinking of doing that just so that I can get the spray paint to lay out evenly.

Any information is helpful.

Thanks,

Sean

The vents break fairly easy & I'm not too sure on how your idea would look sounds a bit tacky but I've been wrong plenty of other times.

I painted my vents before and I just left them all togheter. Just painted one side. Then flipped them the other way and painted the other side. They came out nice. But then later I regretted it cause I wanted a more clean look.

i like the look of painted vents but i would choose something besides white. What color is your car and what color is your interior right now?

Well, My car is That Burgundy color, with Deluxe Grey interior. The reason why I wnted to paint it white, is because I am going to order the McEwan white face guages, 5 inch autometer phanton tach (mounted under the Middle vents in the bae looking area) and 3 autometer phanton guages on the A-Pillar.

The main reason why I was picking white is because I plan on painting the car black in the near future, and I think that balck and white look sweet together.

If you have any other comments/suggestion please let me know.
