dealer sticker removal

whats the best way to get the dealer sticker off my bumper without scratching it or damaging the paint?

first use a heat gun or blow dryer, being careful not to be too close or you may ruin the finish. then get the remaining glue off with either goo gone or a shop/carb type cleaner. had to do this a few times at work over the summer (used car dealer)

Remember you still may be able to see where the sticker was.......because of paint fading (etc.)

I just ripped mine off after I got my car..
But it was a latex based sticker, not like those metallic stickers with sticky glue..
Is that what you have?

yeah,its a big silver metallic sticker.It shows up real good on the blank paint.There probably wont be much fade if any, it was only at the lot for month or so.Even if there is a little fade its better than a big silver sticker.

I find 3M Adhesive removal works great, not sure about the sticker, but any sticky stuff left over will be gone.

The hair dryer trick works well. It helps to loosen up the glues stickiness. Like they said, just don't get it too hot.
