Basically, polished is just making the aluminum metal shiney, where as chrome is it's own material. I guess this is right, kind of makes sense.

Chrome will be a little harder to maintain, but with both I would strongly recommend at least washing them once a week. I just use car wash on my polished ones.

I've seen the chrome in person and they look good, but kind of too much if you know what I mean.

Search for pics of when I polished my wheels on here.
You can get the idea sort of from this pic. sorry only one on this computer.

polished is just that, an all aluminum wheel that has been buffed and it usually has a coating on it, clear coat or an exterior coat. Chrome is a layer of chrome metal on top of the aluminum and i believe they throw a exterior coat on that, but i'm not sure.

No he isn't joking. That's why he posted. See, a lot of us use this board as a resource to learn about....well....nevermind.

Yeah, the others pretty much said it best. Most adds that I've seen use only 1 picture. Chrome is without a doubt shinier. In my opinion, Chrome can make simple rims really stand out, AR Torque thrust 2's for example.....but a rim Like the Iroc rim that has some details like the painted lines in the spokes look too overdone wiht chrome. It takes away from the details of the rim.

Anyways, I though you were just tring to pull everyone's leg.
I just seemed like a joke.

And as far as personal attacks on me.

Believe me, I f I wanted to attack you, I would...

Of the thousands of people here, you consistently are the one name I see in this very same "discussion", over and over and over. I'm not condoning the "swallowing" comment, but I just think that there a bunch of ricers out there that we can all argue with, and I don't understand why you want to argue with us instead. I mean if you REALLY thought it was a joke, then just don't post.
