Firebird to Formula Conversion

If i wanted to make my Firebird (1987) have the look of an 87 Formula what would i need to change other then the rear hatch. wheels and hood.

Transmission: 6 spd.
Axle/Gears: Ford 9" 4.11
that's pretty much all you need to change to make your car look like a formula. If you wanted to go really in depth you could get the performance suspension decal for the inside of the car and the formula stickers for the outside and the engine for under the hood.

the v6 motor to a v8 also would help. but if your gonna spend over 1200 just for the outside, and 800 for the motor.. i bought my formula for $1800.. go figure..

i dont want to go that far. i just LOVE the look of the formula from that era. its so sharp. imo. im going to get the hatch and hood and then just paint the whole car black. any idea how 2 fix my sig? the gif isnt working.. did i type it wrong?

What did you type? (use spaces or something to make sure it posts ok)

For the new hood. Will it bolt right up to my old equipment? and the rear spoiler how dose that go on? do i have to like mold it on with some bondo or somthing? I thought i had to get a whole knew hatch. glass and all,

Hood bolts on-no problem there. The aero spoiler is a different story. There's metal clips that hold the stock spoiler to the glass area--you'll need the complete hatch for it to look right.

or you can find a formula that got smashed in the front in a parts-yard and pay for the whole setup in the back..

yeah i am going to get a whole new hatch and hood.

new to me anyway. not sure about the rims though. ive been thinkin about some of those Tq thrust 2s
