lemme see your hood bird

hey guys, i'm shopping for the bird decal for the front of my car....it's fairly imortant to me that it's silver.....goes well with black. also, what hood can i go with? i have the power dome formula hood, and the car is a formula.....should i go with regular joe-schmo hood? then slap a bird on there? i can't see a bird lookin good on top of the akward hump thing. i need to replace my hood anyways. any ideas? ram air is out of the question...too pricey. maybe if theres a cheaper cowl induction hood somewhere...it might work out. lemme know your ideas. also, what about t/a fenders w/ heat extractors?good, bad?

are you talking about the huge bird across the entire hood,, I think that would only look good on the base model flat hood, or the T/A flat hood.

My Car is a 1977 Trans Am Se and that is what would have came stock on my car. The sticker is gold and clear not gold and black.

Here is a link where you can order a reproduction of the decal on my hood. http://www.phoenixgraphix.com/transam/7678gl.htm

Hmm... How about this?
i saw that and really considered it for awhile....but i'm replacing my formula hood anyways, and i want to take my thirdgen and give it that 2nd gen muscley look. i also considered 2nd gen t/a tail lights converted to fit out back...i think it would be sweet. And..i have decided on a hood bird...it's actually not silver, but orange...and it looks f'n cool! it's the looping style bird like ibrohez' 2nd gen has. sweetness. i think it will look cool as all hell. i'm gonna work on a photoshop of 2nd gen tail lights now too since i'm home sick. thanks for the help guys.

Also, i've been looking ata 2nd gen model i have built and i'm trying to figure out what else i could do to aim for this look....i noticed, right in front of the rear wheel it has like a "reverse mudflap" not sure how to describe it...but i bet it would look cool on a thirdgen.

I hate when people have hood birds that are very contrasting... I don't like any of the ones that were posted except for that Recaro up there (that is a Recaro, right...?), I think that one looks sweet! If I ever get a hood bird it'll be more of an outline like that one. Subtle birds are good, outlined birds are good, gaudy sux. Oh, the second gen is cool though .

These tail lights are like the 1980 and 1981 Trans Am had except they are off of a 1984 Trans Am Same style though. In the next 2 posts i will post a 1984 set of tail lights and a 1981 set of taillights
