K this is right out of the book.

43 (four flashes, pause, three flashes no shat book!)

Electronic Spark Control (ESC) system

Problem cause:

Check wire leading to the ECM terminal L
Check the wireing connector at the ESC controller and at the ECM
Check wire from the Knock sensor to ESC controller; if necessary, reroute it away from other wires such as spark plug, ext.

Well now that I remember I got that error code also. It didnt seem to affect anything except the check engine light. So I'll I did was the last step reroute it away from other wires such as spark plug, ext. That seemed to get rid of one of the codes. But now I have to deal with these errors.

22 TPS sircuit
23 M/C soenoid circuit
24 VSS circuit

The only time it affects it is if I really get on the gas for a while. Then it comes on and adjusts the timing is some fked up manner and takes away some horse power. Great..... Keep in mind if you want to reset the codes to nothing there should be a small black fuse box by the battery. Pull out the fuse for about 20 seconds or so.

>BTW I"m searching google.com for phrases and keywords. This is how you use the internet to find anything you want. I'll be posting what I find here. .........

>Electronic spark control (ESC) -- The computer system equipped with a knock sensor that can retard spark advance if necessary to eliminate spark knock.

>The ESC retard signal has been on for too long or the system has failed a functional check.

>Most say that it is a bad sensor and if you replace that it is a first step into fixing the problem.
