Im going to pick up a 1972 Ford Gran Torino Sport. Its got a 351C and the top end was rebuilt about 6 months ago. It has a 500+ lift cam in it and headers....

The body isnt great but it runs great, is fast and its free!!!!

The isnt the car but its the exact same, just alot cleaner, same color and all...

 

Certain parts look good and certain parts look like crap to me of the car that is.

But it's fast and free , can't beat that.

 

Fast and free you can't go worng. Doesn't have that bad of an engine as well.

 

Man that thing is a sled. What was Ford thinking. They can make killer engines but never a good looking car.

The following ford cars are good looking

65-67 fastback mustangs
6? - 70 cougars
5? - 5? T birds

Sorry but that's it. They can't make a bad motor though.

wes come on now u forgot the 68-69 torino gt fastbacks. got a 68 here with a 390 2 bbl and it is pretty quick for stock but the all time best lookin torino would have to be the 69 talledega


i forgot but one of the cobra engines either the 427,428, or 429 was a dog. didnt breathe worth **** stock. i wanna say it was the 428

 

Does any one know of the Ford Falcon? It was the car used in Mad Max movies. It was made for Australia and was supposed to be based on some type of Torino. THAT WAS A ***** OUT CAR!!!

 

well i went to go get it today and we got the intake put back on but we didnt have the timing and no tools so we couldnt find top dead center.... im probably just going to tow it home... the cam is actually a 490 or 498 lift or somthing.. it sounds good we had it running but wouldnt stay running for long

 

i called on a 66 ford falcon the other day but didnt get a reply...

i think the ones in mad max were the 70 or 71 or somthing like that... but they were all goofy the spoiler on top and stuff....
