My ideas, please photoshop help

Hey everyone, Well im kinda new here, but ive been an avid reader of this message board for close to a mounth now. I have a 1990 firebird. Yep a v6.. its sad, but hey, its mine. Now i was wondering if anyone had pics of a silver bird. Soon enough in gonna get paint and silver sounds really nice, but i havent seen very many of them. Now if u feel like this challenge, My bird had the TA gfx, and im getting a 2 inch cowl hood before the paint. Im also thinking of getting the kobel body kitt from J.C.Whitleys or whatever the name is.

Give me some addvise, or try your hand at photoshop, anyway much thanks to you all, and i guess For my first post, HI EVERYONE!!!

no offense at all to anyone, but after you dress up your car and everything with a cowl hood, making it look fast, and then ppl finding out its a v6, thats kinda embarrising. i say you invest the money in dropping in a 350 or 383. just my advice

If you are going to drop in a V8, you might as well just get a V8 Fbody.

777ZLLL, If you have the Ta ground effects, then you can't install the Kobel predator kit. That kit is only for non ground effects Firebirds and Formulas.

Only if it was carbed, or unless you could find a place to mount one in the engine bay and have custom piping.

Naa, don't just buy a V8 F-Body..You'll end up paying V8 insurance instead of the 6. The way I see it, you could about pay for an engine over a few years of insurance. But, whatever you want to do I guess.

Well thanks guys, ummm i was really looking for some silver pics tho, ehh, maybe i should just look around harder.

About the v6 thing, its fine. It has almost 180k miles, and has oil pressure up the wazu... and it runs fine. When it blows up (hehe) Im just going to buy lt1 running gear and go with it, but right now, 140 or less hp is fine. The 28 miles a gallon is fine, and the insurance is definatly fine.

So any pics of silver birds, 2 inch cowl hoods, or anything? come one guys, ur killing me

oh yeh, about the v6 being slow, umm i bought 255 tires for my back, and ummm it kinda made it to where i cant even spin a tire anymore... any sudjestions to make just a little more power so i can leave a little rubber here and there??:lala: :lala: :lala:

your right these guys r awsome!

umm, ill try to post some.

Wow Jacko, Ive been admiring your car sence i started reading this message board, Its your car that made me want the body kit so bad. Can u install it if u already have the trans am gfx? cant u just take them off? oh well.

Do u happen to have any addvise on an engine swap? I have a 3.1 with 177k miles on it, When it dies or i have the money i want (aka need) an eight. Im really thinking LT1, but is it really worth it? if so, how hard is it? im pretty novice, but i got you guys and a couple friends.

thanks a lot again.!!!

I'd say you would have to remove your gfx, they are bolted on aren't they?. the door panels need to fit flush although some of you gfx may be able to stay on not sure? there is a gap at the lower portion of some of the kit between the car body & kit.
Kobel should be able to give you the rundown on it.
If ya want some fitting tips when ya get it just email, its not too hard . as for engine swap I'm tottally in the dark Tech board will be a big help i'm sure.
OH~! and welcome to the board 777ZLLL
