She just got home... take a look

After seeing her in multi colored primer all summer it feels so good to finally see her in her new pretty red dress. =] She is still a little dirty from being in a filthy paint shop for 3 weeks but I just couldnt wait to show everyone...

Looks like your body shop did an excellent job. I hear that so many people have had bad results.

:hail: That looks excellent!

Isn't it great to see your car all purtied up after having it multi-color primered for seemingly forever?

We just got my buddy's car / one of our MotorSport Connection project cars painted. We did all of the prep work ourselves... this is a Maaco job! I think it turned out great for the price he paid (like $500...)

I don't care for any solid color banner at the top.

why do you guys jump on banners??

i have mine for the reason that i dont have sunvisors and that banner makes a good one!! plus it states something about your car(if there is writing on it) mine is my company hence advertising)

looks good though..now...off with the rims and on with some really nice ones..17' would do that car justice for sure!!

Cause they look stupid... I don't see anything so cool or stylish about a big blank sticker at the top of a windshield. But some people do, oh well.

Anyway, the paint job looks awesome man. How much did it cost ya? (If you don't mind me asking)

If the banner says something cool..........maybe acceptable....

If it's a solid color.........not acceptable

Take my opinion for what it's worth, i have a wing on the back of my car...

Right after i install my air bags on my car i NEED a paintjob......

Leave the banner red, go get some white lettering and stick it over top of the red, it'll look good and set it off...

I started to do the prepwork originally I was going to get a maaco paint job but, my father talked me out of it and i wound up spending about 2000.00 for the paint and most of the body work, i hung the fenders, shaved the antenna, and detrimmed most of it. I still have to get new emblems for it and a "bow tie" grill is in the mail, I got into a small accident a while back and destoyed the original one so the "camaro" one went in. I am asking for some ZR1 wheels like "1991 Z-28" has but who knows if I will get them or not... thanks for the feed back guys. As far as the banner goes it isnt staying on, I never planned on keeping it. It matched my old oxidized paint perfectly and looked better now it doesnt look right....

I don't think 1991 Z28 has ZR1's.... I'm not a rim expert, but isnt the ZR1 what Ions has and Jaws4life?

I think 1991 Z28 hase newer Vette rims.

I just have to say I love the exhaust tips on that Z. They look good. Nice paint, I know how it feels to get your baby back from the paint booth, I have painted 4 cars now and just LOVE the feeling you get when you drive it home after new paint!

Good job!

LOL yes, yes it is. That was funny.

For those who don't know what he's talking about, check out the video on http://www.motorsportconnect.com

AJ ended up taking the air ratchet thing to it for like 10 minutes straight and then jumping on the breaker bar and it finally broke loose.
