Painted Tail lights, what do you guys think?

got my tail lights done, they are painted with clear coat, tinted with black. Bright as h3ll at night, and I personally think they look cleaner on a car then the stick on black outs, what do you guys think?

Not to sound like an a$$, they do look nice, but I do think the idea would work better (including if blackouts were used) if there weren't black stripes on the car. The lights and stripes seem to blend together.

Looks ok, can you get any pics of maybe the whole car in the pic with the tails.

That's my main complaint about your pics, you have such a nice car, and you never show a whole shot.

i say where the stripe on the car meets the lights change the strip color from black to red to contrast the paint scheme. i think that would look pretty cool and very original

I have niteshade on the front and it shines completely thru. So much, that you can tell the lenses are discolored like most old ones. I had some pics at nite, but lost them.

Looks alright. One thing I noticed from the pic is your window tint on the hatch. Is that in strips? If so, take it to a place that does it all in one sheet, it will look so much better

They look pretty good, but I think the old Z28/RS taillights look better tinted. Just something about the grid pattern...

Now if you paint those headlight pockets, the car will be sweet.

Not bad...I think I would have went with the black-outs instead. But overall, looks professional. I would like to see some night shots.

The only reason I car about a night shot is because most people I know with any kind of black out gets hassled by the police because the lights are not bright enough.

Had it like that for about a month now, and no signs of it coming off. I'm gonna probably get them cleared when I get my car painted anyways.

I have blackout and and you can accually see the lights better at night than in the day. There really isn't a problem seeing the lights but the cops can still harasse you if the want. I haven't had any problems with the cops thought.
