Pic of my 3rd brake light mod!

I wish I had a better picture than this but you get the point.
It shows up even better in the daytime.
Without the brake on, you cant even tell it's modded. It just looks like a stock 3rd brake light.
Oh, I also have new tint now so it's not purple/blue anymore. Pics coming soon.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Appearantly the pic was scanned upside down and then saved onto disc that way.

I took off the red plate from the 3rd brake light. I then taped a bowtie to the inside, then I masked around it. After that, I took the bowtie out of the center and then masked the area it was covering and took the other masking tape from around it off. I then sprayed it (the inside of course) with a couple layers of red paint. IAfter that I used some black piant. The red paint makes it look like a plain brake light from outside, and I used the black so not as much of the light would get through to the red. Pretty simple and olny took about 30 minutes.

Easy enough.

I thought it would be cool to have an LT1 swapped in and then make it say "LT1"

EXACTLY!

Ibrohez, I told how I did it already, scroll up.

Quick 6, from what I've heard that's a pretty common problem.

88Bravo, do a Pontiac Arrowhead shape or make it say "TA"

Keep 'em coming....

I like it, but dump the other sticker.

I did something simular. I took a black bowtie and applied it to the out side of my break('86 outside the hatch) light. Now when it lites up you see red around the bowtie and in the daytime it looks like a black bowtie. Only took 5 minutes but look great. Sorry no pics yet.
