Did you order those from the GMHP magazine by any chance?
I see the SLP centercap and all, and I know in the last issue they were selling all these rims, including those in the back page...

My friend ordered them from SLP on monday, cost $1919.00 shipped with BFG G-Force T/A KDW 275/40/17's mounted and balanced.
That is his 82 Trans Am that they went on.
Those wheels costs more than the book value of his car.
Oh, and he gave me his 16x8 wheels and tires that he had.
has nearly new 245/50/16 Goodyear Eagle GSC's.

My car won't be painted for awhile still, got no money.
The wheels he gave me are ARE I think, gotta look at the centercaps again.
Here is a pic of his car with his old wheels,

The kid was going to give me his formula and $4k cash for my GTA, but he couldn't come up with the cash.

that 82 T/A looks AWSOME!!!! I really like the looks of those firehawks on that style car. Love it.
Too bad I can't afford even one wheel....let alone the one tire that goes on it.

Thanks for the kind words, been off the board for a while but the car is like the mafia, "just when I think I am out it pulls me back in!" Thanks to Zephyr for the use of his drive-way. The car has had two owners my dad and now myself. I first sat behind the wheel when I was ten.. I am thirty now..phew Here are a few more pics hopefully they post I am a bit new to that.

$1900 w/ tires, good price! Wish mine were that cheap! My wheels come in next week Friday. They ran me $1600 w/o tires (shipping kills me out here). Total with tires will be $2400. 18" Boyd Coddington 'Tuned' wheels, 18x8 fronts w/ 245/40/zr18's, and 18x9.5 rear w/ 275/40/zr18's also BFG G-Force T/A KDW's. Woohoo!!!

The "tuned" wheels are really nice too.. that was one of the styles I was also looking at.. I have never seen a car with them outside of a magazine.. Be sure to post a pic when you have them on!

To answer some questions, they fit right on with no drama. I thought I wouldn't even be able to turn my steering wheel, but the 275's rub in exactly the same places as my old 245's did, on the inside plastic fenderwell at the extremes they slightly touch.. I took it out and did a few U-turns and backing manuevers and nothing, must be some SLP/Ronal backspacing magic.. they also came with spacers for the front with extended lug nuts and a memo that states some models have a-arm rubbing and that the spacers will solve it (I didn't need to use them). Hope that helps, I still have to walk around the car a few times just to believe it is actually the same car, it truly changes the look. Now I am wishing I went with the zinc washed baer rotors.. when is payday again?

I've got the same tires on my OZ's, need to get 3 more to replace mine, but that will be much later.

I don't understand what the big deal is about those wheels. To me they look just like the cheap prime or ultra wheels sold at wal mart.
