I know the guy that was in the white IROC shown in image 21 and 22. Those pics came off my website (without permission - what a shock). The car was only about 3 weeks old in those pics. I guess him and the driver (owner) were tanked and were chasing after some girls. Doing 80+, the driver had no chance of making the turn. The car sailed and smacked a tree. I guess the driver got brain damage. The passenger was hurt pretty bad, but made a full recovery.

I haven't seen the guy in 3 or 4 years, so I'm a little rusty on the exact story, but I think I'm pretty close.

That's crazy. Were you pretty close to him or just an acquaintance? I've never had to go through anything like that.

Image 2,3,4,11, and 26 are my brothers. We bought the car in after it was wrecked and used it for parts on his 84 Camaro Sport Coupe. The original owner of it was doing 140 mph and lost control. That picture shows you what happens when you spin out and roll.

Here is my bro and I dropping the motor from that car into his SC.

Two of my pics are up on that site without my permission, too. They are from my website, which I don't even advertise or handout. I'm pretty sure I know who took them, though and will try to contact them.

Not trying to flame or anything, but boo hoo, did you get permission from these people to take pics of their cars or something?

Apparently I'm misunderstanding you or you are jumping to conclusions that are baseless. Whose pictures do I have? The pictures I have are pictures of MY cars, and the picture that was taken from my website is of my car. So, yes, I had permission to take a picture of my wrecked car.

No I didnt know it was your car, but putting a picture on the Internet and not expecting someone to download it or put it on their site is like leaving your car unlocked and the keys in with a sign in it that says please dont joy ride me...sorry but its not gonna happen, if you dont want your pics stolen, dont post them, and if you dont want your car joy riden, dont leave the keys in it

I definitely agree on your above point, although I'm still shocked that anyone would know of the page, it was meant for like 10 people and the (my) page sucks beyond all belief. My complaint is that this site has, apparently, taken stuff from three people in this thread alone without asking.

Anyway, the misunderstanding is cleared up at least and life goes on.

BUST THOSE MO FO'S for using ur pic

It looks like some of those cars were not in accidents at all - looks more like they were attacted by viscious beasts. I am always amazed at the fact that no matter how bad the wreck is, the wheels manage to stay alive.

This has been mentioned many times. We got these all from Performance Magazines. Seems that these magazine are tested with Experienced Drivers and tend to have very interesting results. This will be removed from the current information pages and added to the NEW Camaro Information Database where all credits will be added as to the referrences for each timeslips.

Whoever was in that car at the time of the wreck probably got injured somehow (thats just a guess), it dosent really make a good advertisement I dont think.

Anyways I feel sorry for the people driving the cars most of all, then its always saddening to see a bashed up 3rd Gen (like mine).

I'm not blaming you. That picture has already made the rounds. The owners of iroc-z.com took the images from my site, along with almost every other image I had when they decided to make a copycat site of mine. I originated the "wrecked IROC" picture library, but after every one of my pictures wound up on iroc-z.com and they tried to pawn it off as their own, I threw in the towel and never uploaded the other 200 wrecked pics I had.

Ha ha! Yeah we were using a front end loader from my father-in-laws tractor. The ceiling in his garage was too low and the cherry picker wouldn't raise high enough and the outsided pavement was too uneven....had to resort to the front end loader.

probably not the smartest thing but hey, it worked.

*hyperventilating* oh....my......G o d....*faints*

Just because you have the power doesnt mean you need to use it all the time. That Z28 was run hard and now it's dead and the driver probably along with it. I hope he had fun.

If you need to race it, take it to a track. It's cheaper than the insurance and funeral costs of doing it on public streets.

Yeah I'd rather drive my beat up IROC than some import any day.

Wrecked or not I'll still dust them.

The sad part of it all, many people I know who have been in wrecks due to street racing don't take it as a WAKE UP CALL..

Many people continue to do it until they either kill someone or themselves..

There is NO REASON to street race. Take it to the track.. It's safer.. That is why we put those pictures on the site.. In hope people would look at them and perhaps think of them the next time they pull up to a red light and a car revs their engines at them.. Not worth it!
