I have a 92 camaro with the green and gold heritage package. for those of you that dont know, they came with gold accented rims and badges and goldstripes. Ok, heres the question, I'm about to do a complete brake overhaul and was wondering what color to paint the calipers and drums? green, gold or aluminum
heres a pic of what my car looks like, this is DABE's car I havent gotten the pics of mine in here yet

Well i can speak from experience............I liked the idea of having painted drums and calipers for about 3 months......
I say go with red paint on the front to give the illusion they are expensive......
.............then paint the drums in the back ...black....
Green would look out of place cause then people would obviously know that you just painted them, same for gold...........
BUT IMO, they just take away from the appearance of the rims when you paint the brake drums........just do the calipers and you will be happy in the long run....

Black, that is the only way to go on the drums.
they are nasty, and you don't need to advertise them.
that is one thing that pisses me off, most new cars above $20K have 4 wheel disc. a sports car shouldn't have drums. I want to get rid of mine, just have to many things on the list before that.
