I Got Stripes!!!!!!!!
I was unfortunate that I crashed my fully restored 84 Z28 about less than a year ago when I nicked a curb doing about a 100 mph. I totally kinked the frame but I started to save my money to get another car. I wanted to buy a 4th gen camaro and came close. I almost bought a 93 Z28 but it just wasnt the same. After some thought I decided to look for either a 92 RS or Z28. I found a RS that I liked and bought it, seeing brads iroc gave me more motivation because seeing a 3rd gen camaro with a SS hood and stripes looked unreal. I finally got enough money together to buy the hood and get the stripes put on. So I just wanted to let everyone see it. I gotten alot of attention from it. People have been complementing me left and right, the looks that people give me are priceless!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks guys, I am totally stoked. The feeling is undescribable when I drive it because there are not to many people that have third gen cars that are in real good shape so when people see them the definitly attract attention. People have been staring like no other lately. I got the idea of the hood and stipes from Brads 89 iroc. I did not want to totally jock him so I did not do the whole heritage stripes. I had a hard time deciding how to do the stripes. I wanted them the same size all across the car but I thought it might look weird because of the shape of the hood but the guy that painted the car was extremly good. He is my new hero considering the outstanding job he did on the car.

Car looks great. Any ideas for the grill? I'd either paint it black or switch to a later model Z28 grill. Nice work!

I know I just got my car back not to long ago and I took those pics without getting a chance to clean it!!! Your 91 Z28 looks off the hook. How much money if you dont mind me asking do have put into it. It seems that you have alot of money under the hood?

Wow that color looks awesome. The hood and stripes are sweet too. Is it a stock 305 TBI under there? If so, I'd start modding it or swapping it to back up the look

Yeah it is a stock 305 TBI and I am in the process of making mods. I am working on the grill because I will either paint the loivers or by the Z28 grill with the fog lamp setup, any sug....
Who ever said I should of stopped at the hood? I saw some pics of other camaros with the stripes going all the way down and I loved it. The guy that painted them said he never painted stripes on a car like mine that went all the way down but he was glad that I decided that because he loved it. Either way some people prefer them just at the hood but I dont. I know that nobody is bagging on my car I just wanted stripes all the down!!!!
Reguarding the color I think it was just the camera. It is still a deep red but I am almost positive that the name of the color is BRILLANT RED. In the sun it does not look as deep put it does not come close to a normal red.

I say either a Z28 grill with the fog lights, OR the billet grill like shown in my sig pic.....
.......The stock RS grill has GOT to go.......
Also we need more pics......
So now that you got the looks down, time to get some rims, or work on the engine, or get a nice interior...........whichever you want to do first......
