f-body boneyard...

our shop has become an F-body boneyard. Here's what's going on with the donor car (we purchased for the LS1 motor). Remember it looked like this 3 weeks ago. 2000 Z28 with 2745 miles...

now it looks like a game from the Price is Right...

Here's a 97 anniversary Z we used interior parts and LT1 from the last update we did to the 88.

The unabody is all we have left from the 98 SS

here's what happens when you hit a tree.. (customer's car) yep... it's a total....

another customer's car - broken into.

and that's just a portion of what we have no counting what's around in the garage.....

I see em .. an thats a damn shame cause that last camaro is friggin nice .. thats the one thing that pisses me off the most spending all your time and money into this and haveing someone just carelessly break through the hatch. My car was broken into but they didnt steal much but pulled the radio like they were ganna steal it and realized that stock radios arent worth crap.

[end rant]

Why would you use such nice new SS's and a anniversary car as donors??? I can understand the t/a convertible, but an anniversary SS, c'mon!

Why'd you cut the Z28 up? Not that I see anything wrong with that....those things are freakin hideous.

sorry about all the x's yesterday guys...... I exceeded my daily bandwidth yesterday around 4:00.

The reason we used the donor cars is because they were totals before we purchased them (frame damage). Some only had salvage titles, but still had many parts we could use or sell. I can't even say how many different cars are in our car now. So many parts have been changed from year to year???? I told Tim (my husband) that instead of "Fatal" we needed to rename the car to "Frankenstein"!!!!! he wasn't amused...

the 2000 Z28 looked like this on the other side

We cut her up so the salvage people would pick it up. We kept the entire front clip and unabody for future needs.......
I'll ask Tim to explain the door panel swap in detail later...

If you were here in Detroit I would accuse you of running a chop-shop I can't believe that you would rather completely disassemble a perfectly repairable car than do what it takes to fix them. Its OK though, it just makes our F-Bodies more rare

the car is not perfectly repairable. The 2000 Z28 has MAJOR frame damage in the center of the car. I wouldn't do what some shops do and appearance wise fix the car and let anyone I care about drive it. You cut the cars up because that's the only way the "Metal Mites" will pick it up. The cars also only have Salvage Titles. You don't repair them and put them back on the road.

will look the same outside as it did before. Just a dash color change on inside (and from 6speed to auto) The only real difference is the motor.

love your concept....... funny

Are you planning on selling the 6-speed? If so, please e-mail me with the asking price... Thank you.
