Are those 17x11's? They look pretty wide in the rear!

na that wing is not half bad....i've seen worse
If I had the choice those stickers need to go under the hood or on the tool box.
the bra is just a choice, I don't like it but hey to each his own.
biker
bad LS1 though
did those guys from third gen resource ever run their LS1? or are they going to wait till the nat's

i agree that the spoiler/bra and rims look out of place. If anyone wants an LS1 conversion done I know a guy that specializes in GM EFI projects and I can get it done reasonably for you.

That is a guy named Brad in Wisconsin. It is a pretty badazz ride.

Him and his wife drove it all the way from Northern Wi down to Bowling Green,KY with the metal racing seats with lots of padding.

It also has a T-56 trans in it too.

$11,000 just to run 13's. Yeah its cool but it just doesnt seem worth it to me. I think with $11,000 I could build a nasty car that runs in the 10's then just never pop the hood and swear its an LS1 or something

I love those rims, very nice... ive never liked bras, and agreed that spoiler is a little much, but neither of those make it that bad... all in all, nice car

Actually, when you race at certain cash events, you can get contingency money for advertising the products you are using if you place in the top 3.
We found this out when we ran at the Nopi event this past summer.
One of our friends won $500 for the event and $2200 in contingency money for advertising the products he had on his car.
That is one of the reasons for having the stickers on the car.

I think you can get those rims off of e-bay
not a bad price for a set of 16s" type in "camaro rims" and you'll see it

13.2 for $11,000 I'd say it's not worth it, but hey you do get the right to say you have a LS1 in your 86.

I'll be running 10's with half of that money. That is what my car should run with the N20 shot. 11's on the motor.

Its true about the stickers! At some events, if you win and you have "registered" stickers on your car, you can win cash too. Not bad, but i would go with vinyl all the same color for a cleaner look. Some companies do it and others could care less. Not a bad way to earn some extra money.

Hope so! Does anyone know if they have the motor beefed up or not? Seems to be different times with LS1 swaps. I have seen thirdgens run mid 12s and some run low 13s. I guess it has to do with tuning and suspension work too!

don't like it one bit..........just doesn't look good and the ls1 is definately a plus over stock. but isn't something to scream over. just my opinion though as it's always nice to see different things.

just feel sorry for that poor car.

It isn't the cleanest or the best looking car, but his goal is performance-not show n shine.

He does it all with this car. Road race, autoX,drag race, and ROAD TRIP!!

Well, yeah, its a factory produced motor. Does he have any upgrades to it? What is his best time so far? Like i said above, i have seen and read about different times and am curious to see what people run with them.

LS-1

I would love to drop an LS-1 in my 88 GTA but there are just too many downs about it, especially the money it takes...AARON
