You'll either need a spacer in the front, or two different backspacings for the front and rear.

I'd say go with 4th gen backspacing, using spacers on the front. That way you can still rotate front to rear.

A 406 with T-5? That's unusual.

Since you're going with the 4th gen rear, I'd go with the 17x9 Snypers with the 4th gen offset on all four corners. You'll need a pair of 2" adapters (I keep in stock) for the front rims, which will let you rotate the tires. If you burn off the tires before it's time to rotate, you could go with a set of 4th gen offset 17x9's for the rear and 3rd gen offset 17x9's for the front. *Or*.... you could run the third-gen offset on all four corners, and have the rear wheels a bit wider. It should be just about even with the edge of the fenders, similar to running the 17x11 ZR1's. Got a 3 faced coin to flip?

i like the 17x9 all the way around idea, but for now will i be able to use my 92 rims with the 4th gen rear end? I dont quite have enough for the ROH snypers yet and just want to be sure i can use my third gen rims with my new rearend.

you should be able to. I think Topless 91 RS is using 4th gen rear end with 92 rims. You might want to search other posts to find his car and what it looks like
