I like it! Needs some different wheels maybe something in 16"... looks great otherwise. Is that pearl paint? I even like the louvers painted body color.

Some bigger rims 16's or 17's would be nice and the louvers in my opinion are better left off.....

What kinda paint is that???

Just my .02

nice car dude...what year is it yer missin the rear gfx good to see anotehr 82-84 among the boards

btw im curious why is it everyone on this damn board hates 15 inch wheels? jfc i mean really EVERYONE says put 16s or 17s or heaven forbid larger wheels....dont get me wrong i love the 17s...16s to me now are kinda pointless. but nothin beats the classic big and littles combo, but then again im more into straight line performance rather than cornering ability....but not everyone needs nor wants 16s or 17s....sorry just voicing an opinion...getting tired of everyone saying get larger wheels

well i had the stock 15's on my car when i got it and now i have 16's and they are a huge difference then 15's.....i was going to get 17's but the price jump was outragious so i went with the 16's....so 16's arent pointless because they are better then 15's and a lot cheaper then 17's

Bubba I have to say looking at your car makes me want to get one like that. That car is beautiful. Maybe I'll get one like that later on down the road for a project.

I don't like the wheels... it looks like theres an axle going right through the rim. And I don't like the louvers, painted or not.

That's a clean bird. With a little work it could be mint! Just get rid of those *** awful rims! They look tiny, what are they 14"? Also the louvers make your car look unique but would look better painted black.

when you took off your gfx, if you did, werent there holes to be filled or what? see thats what i meand about redneckish... i dont want to have to bondo holes cause i odnt have the money to get it painted...

doesnt it screw with your mph if u get larger wheels?? a larger diameter will make the distance per rotation larger so i would think that you would have to adjust your speedo when getting larger tires... or am i way off??

where can i get a cheap set ov rear window louvers for my 89 camaro??

As long as you keep the overall tire diameter the same, you won't have a problem. For instance, if you have 14" rims with super thick tires, and go to 16 inch rims with lower profile tires, the overall wheel diameter stays the same, hence requiring no recalibration of instruments.

And Icebird, nice ride! I'm gonna agree with most people here and say change the rims, but that's JMO. Definitely let us know what's been done to it!

first, the rims i dont like them my self, they are actually spokes that go over it, he took them off for the winter sit. not my choice in rims though still. and the back pice i think it just looks old, u have no idea how much times i told him to take it off. it never had ground fx. the paint i think is purl white, blue, and pink. he orignal built it for my mom but they got a devorce, so he was stuck with the pink on it. oh and for the red neck comment i dont get u there its just a matter of peoples tast, and i dont think i ever met a jamican red neck before. check out the air brush in the front on the noes i designed it and air bruched it onmy self.[i added a next pic, dont mind the look they were done with a bad digital carmera.
