That is one well taken care of car there Tim. I love the flames! They look great like that. Anyone who doesn't, knows nothing about Hot Rods and or customizing. Excellent. Now I just have to hope mine turns out that well when it is done. Great work Tim. Keep her shinnin!

Approx. how much time would you guess is in the labor taping off a nice set of flames on a third gen? I am planning ghost flames in the near future and would like a rough guess as to what to expect cost wise. Thanks.

My paint was done in March of 93' .... i think it just takes a bunch of TLC and the paint will last.

This is the site my bro made http://www.geocities.com/z28driver2002/index.html
The 90' IROC has its original paint. And it should, he only has 5300 miles on it.

the guy that did ours took a couple of days. We paid $5000.00 for just the flames. Tim painted the red and white and cleared the car after the flames were done. The guy that did ours is Rodney Hutchinson (Total Kaos). He's one of the best painters for doing graphics on showcars.

Good, thats the way it should be! No point in doing all of that work unless you have tons of cars to keep it company while it just sits around in a garage as a show car. Looks great, the green IMO sets it off! $5K is pricey but the lines follow the whole contour of the car and its done right, and its 7 YEARS OLD. That tells you something. Later

Looks good, do you use anything to cover it while out, such as a car cover or does it just sit in the Texas sun all day??

fatal88:

what size z06 rims are on the thirdgen? where did you get the center caps with the SS logo and why did you get rid of them? problems or just change?

i'd like to get some but i'm not sure if i can get away with 18's and i'm worried about throwing horsepower to them. would it be a concern you think?
