Pic's of Nitrous Injected Almost Chrome SuperRam

Just wanted to share some pictures of my Almost Chrome powdercoated SuperRam befor its long gone... Enjoy

I never got around to using it. Long story Short. I bought a Holly Stealth Ram from Big Mike. powdercoated it and didnt really like the tissue Box looking plenum. So got rid of it for a SuperRam Ya Ya a Pizza box looking intake.. I polished it then shot it with almost chrome powder. Well I talk to JMatlock88 like every day and really like the looks of his HSR now that it was milled to remove the fins and polished. So Im buyin another HSR having the fins removed and powdercoating that one also..

Will post pic's of that one later also. SO here are some PIC's of the SR....

and Here are a few of the HSR I had also...
HSR COATED1

HSR COATED 2

a stock TPI the SuperRam befor polishing and coating and the HSR after it was done

Do you have any more pics of the TPI LTR setup? I am thinking of going with the "almost chrome". Do you recommend polishing it to smooth out any cast marks before powdercoating?

I would polish before applying the powdercoat, it will look much better. That is what I did with my intake.

Can you do a clear powder coat? I have been meaning to ask around if a clear coat would dull my polishing job even the slightest bit, if so, forget it, but if I could clear it, keeping it clean would be much easier.

absolutely not, the only way would be to chrome plate on top of that perfect shine.........you'll only ruin it. that type of finish is a platers dream to apply chrome on though.

Clear would prob dull it a little. I havent yet tried to polish something up and clear it.

Do you have the stock lid still? If you do Polish that puppy up and ship ity my way Well test it out.

Buy Ya man that is a perfect piece to Chrome Plate. I was gona have my Sr hrome plated and They said It would be polished 1st Then chromed. $300 but this place wont do lower intakes because he said he cant get a good coat in the creveses(sp) and if he leaves the part in to long to get em good It might eat away at the aluminum.

So i didnt get anything done. I just powdercoated it myself.
