I don't have ground effects and I like my car without them. It all depends on your taste. You don't HAVE to have them. Personal preference.

No offense but those rims just don't go with your car. There is something about them that throw the look of it off balanced. As well the blue you picked was way to bright. You should look for a darker metallic Blue for your car, and paint the bottom 3 inches around the car in a silver trim color. IMO.

Give it the look of an 88 sport coupe, thats what I did to my 85 "pic in my sig" and it was a blast
Put a 87-90 3 piece spoiler with the 3rd brake light on there as well, they look better than the smaller ones and wiring the light in is a breeze. Have fun fixing 83 up.

It's just a blue I made with my photo editor!
It reminds of the blue on NEEDforSPEED's car though, you could ask him about his color....

I like that bright blue color. It looks like Ford Grabber blue. I found this pic on the web of a 69 Mach I painted that color.
